A simple, elegant and tall standing bronze torchiere. The shade is heavy, quite substantial and, because of its warm creamy color, the light is strong, but not too harsh. This lamp would look great in a foyer or living room...or wherever you need a good light source without the need of a table.

Looks nice. Easy to assemble. Works well. Planning to buy a second light.

This is exactwhat it says. I've been looking all around for a lamp like this, had one before. Love the amber dome.

I like the style and the oiled bronze finish is very nice. I would have preferred an opaque white glass shade, as the amber color is obvious, and the lighted bulb is visible through the translucent glass. The quality is very good for the price, with a heavy and stable base that doesn’t require a lot of space. The lamp is quite tall, and I would have preferred one slightly shorter, but that’s just my preference. The lamp was as described on the website and I liked it enough that I purchased it even though it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. It provides good lighting with a 3way bulb that allows different light options.

Useful and decent condition

This lamp was fairly easy to assemble, just needed to start the threading completely lined up then the pole lengths easily twist together. The base was just a little tricky because the pole length and weight of the base compete against each other a little but it wasn't too difficult for one person to assemble alone. The switch is pretty high to turn it on and off, but I plugged it into an outlet operated by a wall switch to get around having to turn it on and off from the lamp. Very happy with how it looks and the amount of light it casts using a three way bulb.

I'm only keeping this lamp bc Amazon customer service was nice enough to credit me due how poorly this is set up to screw in. The lamp is really pretty but as some reviews stated, it's lopsided. I've put plenty of floor lamps together, it's not hard at all but this lamp - the grooves on the pole sections either don't screw tightly or as what happened to me, two of them got stuck together after many times of trying to screw it in evenly - since it was not screwing flush with the other section and eventually got stuck together so I couldn't even fully take it apart to get it back in the box to return it. I've had to really manipulate this pole to have it look straight in my corner along with putting rubber coasters underneath b/c the base is not even. I'll keep this until I find something better but heed this warning - as I did not by reading other people's lopsided reviews. You can take the chance like I did but buyer beware!

Well constructed as any lamp ever purchased, what a solid investment in a lamp that has a substantial heavy base (won't tip over), the DESIGN IS SUPERB, sleek and modern, in a beautiful, eye-catching form (including the base which is not cookie cutter and flimsy, and topping it with an alluring swirl glass torchiere which gives the appearance of marble. Could not have selected a better, more BEAUTIFUL floor lamp, and in future will gravitate toward this manufacturer who knows how to put both design and substantial material into such a sleek and glamorous product. Thank you.
