Cotton Seersucker Stripe Yellow/White, Fabric by the Yard

I ordered this to quilt for the reverse side of placemats, but this is not real seersucker, just a poor thin imitation of the real thing. The fabric is too thin to bother stitching, as it will not last long. I am returning. Very disappointed, as I'd looked forward to sewing with it. Not only is the fabric paper thin, but the hallmark seersucker pressed pattern is barely discernible.

I bought the fabric to make lightweight but not see-through curtains for my son's and daughter-in-law's living room windows. This fabric was easy to sew up. The curtains are on tension rods and can be moved to the side in the daytime to allow the sun to warm the cabin in the day and closed for privacy in the evening. I probably wouldn't use this quality of seersucker for clothing because it seems a bit fragile.

Not exactly what I thought it would be.

I used fabric to make a privacy curtain for my bathroom. This searsucket is a nice weight fabric. It was Easy to sew and launders nicely.

Nice light weight cotton; it made a lovely midi skirt. I’d been reluctant to buy fabric without touching it, but I’ll confidently order from this company.

Just what I wanted, couldn't find it in any local fabric store. Made some pretty curtains for my newly renovated kitchen!

Great quality, just what I wanted. The pin stripe was a little narrower than I expected, but the color was true. Overall, great fabric!
