Fabulous toilet shims that are adjustable - and - can be trimmed!
* What's super about these shims is that they're designed explicitly for toilets. Oh, I'm sure you could use them elsewhere, e.g., to balance an uneven table or dresser, whatever. But these are perfect to fix a wobbly toilet.* I loosened the two back bolts holding down my toilet - and inserted three shims in the gap around the front. I then lightly re-tightened the bolts - and tested the shims by sitting on the "golden throne" myself, adjusting the shims by pushing them in further until the wobble disappeared. The shims are thicker the further you push them in. I then re-tightened the back bolts, tested the shims again and just like that - the wobble is GONE.* The two (2) BEST things about these Plumb Craft Waxman 7141000N shims - is, 1 of 2) they're made of plastic instead of wood, the latter which expands and contracts with moisture and can ROT over time, and, 2 of 2) you can easily trim off the excess plastic from these shims - with a razor blade or a utility knife.* About the latter - I did it by exerting force STRAIGHT DOWN with a blade - over the corner of the shim - and worked my way around the excess until it completely broke away. The plastic cuts more easily this way. DO NOT USE A BACK-AND-FORTH nor a "sawing" motion while you trim the excess plastic off. You'll get a cleaner break from pressing down with your knife.* I then used a lot of quick-dry white silicone caulk to cover up the shims - and to fill in the tiny raised gap between the front portion of the toilet and the floor.* Never has so little - made me feel like a true handyman God - because I'm usually a hopeless serf when it comes to getting near anything resembling plumbing. If I can do it, you can too.

Perfect For Toilet Shimming
Got these for a toilet replacement on tile floor just in case I needed them. The ones I received are clear rather than what appears to be white in the picture. Also they are smaller than you might expect from the close-up picture. Fortunately I didn't have any wobble but there were a few places where the shim could be partially inserted under the toilet so I used the shims there to ensure the weight is evenly distributed. Having read some reviews mentioning difficulty cutting I pushed the shims in and drew a line on them to mark the edge of the toilet. Then I pulled them out and used a snips to cut; then I used a screwdriver to push them back in. Since they are clear, unless you are down on the floor you don't even notice they are there.

Easy install
I don’t leave reviews ever but felt compelled to do so for this. Works better than I imagined. Toilet does not give at all now. I only used one and placed it in the rear of the toilet so I didn’t need to caulk around it or hide the adjustments which made this even easier. Also it cut with a utility knife very easily. Saving the remainder of the package for other odds and ends (furniture, etc).

Easy to cut, good variation of heights
There isn't really much to review here. It's a little acrylic wedge. I bought them to keep my toilet from rocking. Stripped off my (crap) caulk job, loosened the bolts a bit, forced the spacers in, marked where how far they would go. Then cut them with normal seizers and that's it. No more wobble. They might be 50c cheaper at Lowes, but getting it delivered is totally worth it.

Four Stars
Could have breakaway tabs so that the shim doesn't need to be cut.

Simple to use
I like the interlocking feature so that you can add lift that stays in place.

Shim away your wobbly toilet problems away.
remodeled the bathroom and found out the flange was almost an inch off the ground. Having carpet in that room before (gross) probably forced the builder to raise the flange but now that we do not have carpet I was stuck with a wobbly toilet problem. these were easy to use and being made of plastic will not wear or rot.
