Great product.
They do what I needed them to do. They mute the drums so that you don't disturb everyone in the house or neighbors. The drums still have a tone to them which is great. The cymbals are decently muted, but the sound is a dull metallic thud. This is not a big issue for me. The top high hat is muted well , but the bottom still sloshes if you play open or partially open. Over all me and my eyes wife are very pleased and now I don't have to fork out $1000+ on an electric set. With this package I received the 22" kick mute which is great for me cause my kick is "22.

Best drum muter in market
Got my muters 2 moths ago and this is what i think about them:1.- The kick drum is really a good muter, it also feels resistent and may last long if your not a blaster or hit really hard on it, id say the bass drum mutes about 80% of the sound.2.- The Toms muter are in my opinion the best in the kit, they really mute ALOT of the sound, like 90-95%, feels a bit louder than hitting the drum chair with stick.3.- The snare one is not really what i expected, it reduces a bit of the sound but there is alot of resonance coming out of it, so its like 50-60% reduction. I'm using currently Evans 2-Sided Practice Pad, 12 Inch which is the best for practice and the noise is almost unnoticeable. Took the snare muter and placed it between both cymbals in the hihat.4.- The hi-hat one is not THAT good, it does its job if the hihat is closed, but if u want to play open patterns it gets useless, so i'm using the SoundOff by Evans Hi-Hat Mute, 14 Inch combined with the snare in the middle and its a perfect match, and using this hihat muter as a crash muter for 14-16" cymbals, only downside is that since the cymbals rotate, sometimes you need to place it back in middle playing or else it's going to sound like hitting a piece of wood with the stick.5.- The Ride cymbal is the best one of the cymbals, 80-90% reduction and actually not much to complain about it, but same problem with hi hat, because the cymbals rotate and it's anyoning to hit the cymbal and not the muter.6.- Crash ones, they do reduce same as the ride if you play with the tip on the body, BUT since you don't do that on a crash cymbal, it gonna sound like 40-50% of the original sound without muter, but it last a quarter of second, and only posible way of it to not happen is if all the cymbal was covered up in a mutter... the one in this pack fits 16" cymbals, but dont worry if you have a bigger size one, just make another hole in the top of the original and this will work up to a 19" cymbal. Same problem with other cymbals about rotation. In general this a good deal for the price, and it will take another method of muting for cymbals in order to beat this kit. So go ahead and buy one!

Just what I needed.
After moving from a place where sound was no issue to a townhouse with neighbors living on both sides of me it was evident that I needed a way to turn down the volume on my drums or simply not play. While I just didn't play for a while I knew I that wouldn't last long. These are great. The drop sound down almost to the point where I could play at any hour of the day (haven't risked it yet but may try). Cymbals have a really quick noise to them and then they're quite. Toms are really muted. Base is nicely muted. Only issue that I have is the sound that the snare makes. If you have your snare on, the mute doesn't do much. For that reason I simply play with the snares off. Yes its not the same but I would rather keep playing vs anger my neighbors. Regardless, good buy if you want to keep the drum noise to a min.

Very quiet besides bottom hat and the snares.
I was expecting the 20" bass drum pad, so I had to trim an inch off all around the 22" to make it fit, and then relocate the velcro pad with new double-sided tape. This particular listing is not very clear about the size. But besides that all was good and in perfect condition. These mutes cut the volume of everything by a large amount. The exceptions are hi-hat chicks and splashes, which are still very loud because there is no mute on the bottom hat cymbal. The snares are loud unless you throw them off, but I put my Vic Firth practice pad on the top of the snare drum and am able to get a quiet snare-on sound that way.Vic Firth Drum Set Mute Prepack

Not a fan
Not a fan of these mutes. Mostly because you have to stick the bass drum mute on with velcro. Changes the sound of the bass drum all because of a few strips of velcro. Not cool.

so its great, does its job
Ok, so its great, does its job, but it actually muted my toms to the point that they don't even sound like toms anymore. Like, all I can hear is rubber with a bit of overtone. However, my snare, crashes, hi-hat, and bass drum all sound fine. Its just my floor tom and the other two that have absolutely no sound. The hi-hat really doesnt mute it that much, but it doesnt make too much noise anyways so thats a plus. The crash mutes, but the sound obviously won't hold for that long, cuz its basically in a state of being partially choked forever. So yea, a three star. I like what it did, just not for all the drums.

Really good!
These serve their purpose very well. They quiet the drums enough that people aren't annoyed but you can still play on your own or with a track. The one problem I have had is that some of the pads move. The snare (which I play at a slight angel) is the biggest problem. It slipped off a lot until I put a piece of duck tape underneath it, problem solved. The other issue was with the kick cover. It's held on by adhesive velcro that attaches to the drum and the pad. The adhesive on the pad kept falling off. I solved this with some gorilla glue. Haven't had any problems since. If you need a quiet solution for your playing, I highly recommend these. They're great quality at an even greater price!-sp

Love these!
Perfect for my daughter to play. Drums are in livingroom, now she can play without disturbing the rest of the house plus makes her feel more comfortable practicing. The rubber smell was quite strong for about a week, but it has tapered off.

Works fine
The sound is muffled. Mounting and removing each part is a matter of seconds for the cymbals only; for the drums, you just lend it on the heads, and remove it when done. It stinks for a few days. The rebouncing of the drum sticks is severely affected, so I am using the muffling kit only when practicing coordination exercises.
