Bought these for my parents and worked out great during the recent 2021 texas ice storm.

I bought two cases. Opened one case and had four damaged. Three of them looks like the pop tart exploded out of the package. The other one has some kind of white substance everywhere. Out of the 14 meals only one was labeled. The rest of them look like someone used just a regular vaccum sealer bag. I emailed Ozark Outdoorz and sent the pictures. I called and left a message. However, no one called or emailed back.

First, the good. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was worried that I would get some sort of trash with only the sides (cake, drinks, candy) worth eating. However, I opened one box and it had regular MRE type menus with varied meat dishes like spaghetti with beef, chicken penne, etc. The meals are like the training meals in that they seemed just slightly smaller than the classic MRE and were packaged in a clear bag. However, they were more than adequate. This WAS a great and less expensive alternative for storing emergency food. They came sealed, packed well and unharmed from shipping. All the meals in the first box were in good shape. I didn't open the second box (it went to storage).The BAD. I started to order a second batch and the price had jumped from $94 to $150 in two days. Other MREs, some with inspections due, are now going for $500. Is this price gouging? Something they were making money on is now 50% higher than before the coronavirus issue. I will not buy from these people again.I suggest people looking for a source for emergency food research on YouTube and make your own packs. There are many shelf stable foods that can be put together for a fraction of the costs of these.

Great for storage or taking camping

Only received 14 meals when I purchased 28 meals. False advertising from this seller! Don’t buy this! One box is not worth $150! You just get the same 2 entrees over and over again in a box.

There was supposed to be 2 cases according to the description. I only received one box. There certainly isn't 24 entrees it either.

ordered 2 full cases received only 4 menu items throughout. Only 2 are edible unless your 5 and like generic brand spaghetti O's with no protein.....

Every meal is a pasta. All had pop tarts that were melted together. Some had green spots.
