Perfect size and shoes a great job at keeping our pool clean, first time using a sand filter and I have to say also that we changed our pool over to saltwater anyway it was very easy to set up and hook up and did an awesome job at keeping the pool Crystal Clean back wish washing is a snap just press down turn the dial and it will backwash press down turn the dial back to rinse press down turn the dial back to filter can't get no more simpler than that first year of using worked flawlessly can't go wrong I must purchase if you're looking at wanting a clean Crystal Clear Pool

This sand filter worked flawlessly all summer once I set it up. It was easy to clean and flush to put away for the winter.

This is the 2nd sand pump that I bought, the first one being a Swimline and it was TERRIBLE. Leaked everywhere. This one is identical to the first one, but it works like a dream. No leaks and is very powerful.

I bought this set last year. It worked great. A lot of power, never had any issues with cleaning, or moving the valve handle. Spend the day today opening my pool, got everything attached, water filling, and when I went to move the valve handle, I had to put a lot of pressure on it to get it to move, and when it did, it didn't fully seat, and would leak out of the backwash side, no matter what selection I had it on. As I continued to move it, it became more stuck, and finally broke. Now I have a full pool, which needs chemicals, and have to try to find a replacement to order, as there are no pool supply stores within 2 hours of my home. Don't do it, spend a little more for a higher quality one! I stored the valve in a protected area during the winter, it was not exposed to the elements.

Very simple and easy to set up. Cleaned and cleared my 16' x 48" pool in less than 24 hours, after sitting covered all winter. However, be sure to tighten the bolts that hold the pump halves together BEFORE you install it. I didn't, and after about 30 minutes of operation, it sprung 3 leaks. One on each side and one on the top. I tightened all the bolts down as best as I could with the pump running and stopped. The leaks slowed, but never stopped completely. So, instead of draining everything, I put Flex Seal all around the seal where the pump halves meet. I was surprised as to how quickly and completely the leaks stopped! Kudos to Flex Seal, I was never a believer! Guess I'll be taking it all apart at the end of the season.

Great product, great size, just what we needed.

This is a great secondary pump for my in-ground pool. The configuration for the vacuum on the main pump is a hassle to setup and maneuver. So, introduce a second mobile pump to run my auto-cleaner and when necessary I also use for hand vacuuming. Great power, and saves me hours every week!

This pump has made a drastic difference in our above ground pool! We had another brand that we purchased on Amazon before this, and we constantly battled with poor filtering and algae. This kept our pool clear ALL summer!

My 15 foot above ground pool came with a normal crappy pool and it goes green fast even with chemicals. I bought this little unit and put less than a bag of sand in it from my local pool store and hooked it up to my very green water pool and over night with a shock put in it before bed my pool cleared up to Cristal clear and now takes way less chemicals to keep it in range. I highly recommend this pool filter for pools my size for sure. Mine is 15 feet across circle that is 5 feet deep and this filter works amazing.
