Works great!
I purchased this for my 6 year old daughter who has a need to chew on things. When she wears it, it works great. It has held up to some pretty good abuse and now her hair and clothes stay dry. It looks nice too and doesn't draw a lot of attention. I would definitely purchase another one if I needed to.

Not safe. Falls apart and swallowed when chewed.
Purchased for my son with anxiety s d sent him to school the first day. Came home half gone. He chewed it and it fell apart. Unsafe and extremely upsetting.

Great Chewy!
I have tried several different brands of chew necklaces from Amazon and have tried to find one as good as this one for a better price. I don't think it's possible. My son is a VERY strenuous chewer and this necklace surpasses all the others I've tried. The necklace cord has broken for me before the chewy itself. Highly recommend!

A great fidget for ADHD
I bought this for my son who was constantly pulling/twisting his hair. This gives him something to fidget with and stops the bald spots he was getting. His pediatrician recommended this for his ADHD.

Do not buy!
Piece of crap. Do not buy. Came in the mail already destroyed. Definitely would not hold up to chewing! Very unsafe.

My kid gagged and vomited
It’s ok. My three year old daughter stopped chewing toys, but then she also gagged herself with this and puked all over me and the sofa. So for kids with molar pain, there seems to be a real gagging risk. I do not think she would actually choke, but what a mess.

Good quality
i thought it would help detour from chewing on shirts and pencils and hair, but it looks like a big Pacifier in her mouth... so im not sure.Quality is great and everything... just not sure. She seems to chew on it More than she was chewing before and she said her teeth now hurt, maybe that will help her to not want to chew for a while.

Does it's job
Bought this for my son who has bitten his nails for 6 years. He doesn't even realize he's doing it, it's just non stop biting. This worked to curb his nail biting as he chewed this exclusively. It's been a week and he's completely gnawed it to the little hole where the strap goes through.It did its job and now I need another lol
