A simply excellent way to deal with conflict
I keep this book on my shelves at my dojo, one of my favorite and most-recommended martial arts books. The process it recommends is simple - identify what you don't want, say what you want to change, and check to make sure it was heard and agreed. Change a potentially angry moment into a structure that can be made to work. Avoid a fight, showing respect to yourselves and others. An excellent, simple, important book.

Best book I’ve read this year
I’ve read 41 books so far in 2021 and this one is the best of them all. We need to understand what the author discusses to handle all of our relationships. Work, home, friends, everything benefit from the concepts she talks about. Literally life changing.

What a life changer!
Amazing book!!!! Tons of helpful information. I'm so excited about this book I bought two versions. A kindle version and a hard copy so I can keep it with me always and refer to it often.

WAC’em
I learned some new things about etiquette in today’s business world, how to stand up for myself without being overbearing. I will look forward to implementing this new found knowledge and hopefully coming out more successful than previous attempts. Where I just ended up a dry with no solution. If this is for personal growth socially or professionally I recommend this to help with most situations.

Meh. One core idea that is repeated throughout the book, not worth the read or the $
This book has one core idea that is repeated throughout the book, and can be summarized with the acronym WAC: *W*hat is bothering me? *A*sk the other person something specific to change *C*heck for their feedback. The rest of the book is providing examples of this, and then some pretty general information (some people feel wary to confront others, but it can be important to do, because communication is generally good when it is respectful). I'm not sure this information needed to be put in a 240 page book; truthfully, it could have been shared effectively in like 10 pages.

Be assertive, not aggressive
Great book proving exactly the insight I was looking for. If you have trouble standing up for yourself in an assertive but not aggressive way, this book can really give you some tools to work with. Highly recommend.
