This came all intact, it's cute, can't wait to put it up for the squirrels. However, one of the screws to hold the corn was bent and wobbly. Tried to fix it, but couldn't, so put in a thicker screw and now it's firm. I have to paint the label off the front with white paint. The squirrels can't read and it is just kind of an eyesore. Once that is finished, will put it up on the fence.

The screws that the corn cobs go on do not stay very tight. They're very loose, which causes the corn cobs to come off very easy.

Wanted squirrel feeder to temp squirrels to eat at feeder and not at bird feeders. So far it is working as hoped. Feeder was not as strong as hoped. I glued all the connections which greatly strengthened members. At the price I paid it is worth the money.

Bought this for my wife as she likes to feed the local wildlife....birds, squirrels, chipmunks etc.We mounted it to the tree across from where we sit on the porch. It came with two sets of screws. The short set was too short to reliably keep it mounted and set in the tree, so we used the longer ones meant for the corncobs. While the short screws work ok to hold the corn, I will end up replacing with longer.The bottom of the bench has a perforated piece of metal to allow for water drainage, but much sturdier than mesh screen.So far the squirrels love sitting on this bench and munching on the corn and peanuts. There's at least one that hangs out and eats his fill for what seems like hours at a time.

I wanted something to feed the squirrels and the birds that could attach to the tree. This has been working out great so far! I put in 2 cups of bird/critter food and that lasts about a week or so. I love watching them and the squirrels are no longer coming to the door looking for food 😆 our friends think it’s cute, too. Hopefully it holds up for a while.**updated in 2023 to 4 stars because we have already replaced it once and it’s looking like another replacement will be needed. The paint chips off after about a year and the squirrels (or something) has managed to knock it off the tree at least twice…even though it’s drilled into the tree.

Our squirrels and blue jays love it. We put corn on the scews provided and in the shell peanuts all in the bottom. I love that it is a screen like material on the bottom, so it does not hold water. We had a few issues before we could use it. It came fully assembled other than feeding two screws(included)through the bottom to hold the corn. The screws did not want to stay in, they were too loose. So we had to fix that. The second thing we did not like was the ugly printed name right on the front. So I made a pine cone flower to cover it up. Some may not care about the printed name on the front. Overall sturdiness is good, we have had it outside in use for about a month.

it snows so much here in winter water tends to collect in feeders with solid bottoms. this was great. the squirrels haven't stopped coming by all day since i put this up. actually im not sure if its squirrels or just the one squirrel who kept coming back 😂

Holds multiple squirrels, lots of food and is a lot bigger than i thought it would be.However, The screws it came with snapped trying to install it. and The wood isn't at all treated. I've had it like a month and the wood is already soggy and falling apart from just 2 short rainstorms. It's starting to break apart and I'm gonna have to throw it away cause I don't want the chipping paint or wood pieces getting in their food.

I really like this product and enjoy watching the squirrels feed from the bench. I have decided not to use the screws for corn cobs as I feel that these could be a hazard for squirrels when not in use (personal choice).The problem I encountered when installing was that the armrests extend beyond the back of the bench backrest making it difficult to flush mount on a fence unless you wanted to install with the mounting board parallel to the top of your fence . The distance between the armrests (31cm) was not compatible with the spacing of slats on my fence so I had to offset the mounting at a corner on my fence. The armrests themselves are 3.5cm wide so take this into account if you intend to mount on a fence.
