12V 50AH Leisure Battery Deep Cycle For Caravan, Motorhome, Camper & Boats

Bought with some concern having read other reviews, but seemed to be ideal for my venture into solar.Arrived two days late, but we live in interesting time.Big lables saying 'Leisure battery' them discovered a small one saying 'For cars and trucks' ???But up and working with no problems so far.

A good size for a battery backup system. It costs a little more to buy smaller, but you don't end up with a hernia lifting them.Additional info 180822... Four batteries now running in parallel, charged from 250 watts of solar. Also, a float charger to ensure damage free charging. Generally, the batteries hold up well when removing 300 watts for inverters. The main purpose is to ensure electricity available at all times. I estimate four hours of heavy use like a big freezer and fridge, or a days use of house lights, computers, equipment charging and video. Cost of all bits...500.00. Cost recovery time, about 10 years. Carbon cost benefit, minus an awful lot. However, no probs with power cuts! The batteries are standing up well on daily usage during summer.

Good battery

We use this battery to power a 40lbs thrust electric outboard motor to drive our small rib down the river to our big boat mooring. It is a 25 minute trip each way and sometimes has to work quite hard against wind and tide but it has always been up to the job. Whenever it is not in use it is on a trickle charger. Very pleased. It wasn't expensive.

I bought this product in good faith for our touring caravan, after 8 months this is failing to hold its charge. battery used about 6 weekends. I have contacted the seller and have been told I need to return the battery at my cost for investigation, so in the weeks to come I need to purchase another battery to enable us to use our caravan while they "investigate" the problem. I have tracked Zefa trading company ltd to 29 haddon road , burley , leeds LS4 2JE, a terraced house on a leeds street. I am now taking my complaint to Amazon as this apears to be a sub let seller using Amazon. Further to this they seem to be now operating from another house in leeds 15 hawkswood mount leeds LS5 3PQ

Brought less than 6 months ago last month started to notice it wasn't keeping as much charge now its just a dead battery, waste of money.

Used to power garage light from solar panels. In use for two months now and working well.

Do not by battery has no longevity at all. Last very small amount of time before it no longer holds charge.Conected to solar panel and will charge but be below usable power amounts by somewhen at night and won't start the night heater as voltage drops to low.
