The recipe for a Washington apple says vodka, Canadian whisky, sour apple pucker, and cranberry. Had me looking like an idiot to my customers. a Washington apple these days has crown apple, pucker, and cranberry. Maybe it's just outdated but my customers sent the drink back and thought I was stupid.

I're read several drinks books over the years and this one is probably one of my favs. It has alot of recipes, even the type of glass to pour it in, and even breaks down things like wines and liquers. The index can also be used to search by alchol type. This may not seem like a big deal, but I have found alot of them that don't do this at all. It also has some non alcoholic drinks too.Update 3/7/2013I eventually tried some of the recipes. All the ones I have tried so far are horrible. It may just be me or the drinks I picked. After all there are a couple hundred in this book. Seems it needs some description on how the drink is going to taste before you spend the money to buy the ingredients.

Had bought it for a novice. Really good collection for a beginner.

the only thing is i bought this book hopping to fine how to make certain drinks and they not in the book. this is no fault of the seller they got me the book fast and it was in great shape

I feel lot of drinks mentioned here have different ingredients used in regular life than whats mentioned.This might be due to regional/ bartender you follow difference.I would advice to skip this book.
