Mod Podge CS15066 Extreme Glitter 8 Oz, 1 Pack

Omg, I love this mod podge. It is so beautiful and glittery when dry. I still go over it with satin mod podge once dry but I don't think you have to.

I bought this to go over a large, full white moon, part of the mural I painted on the end wall of our hallway. It's clear so can over any base color, it's straight forward and simple to apply, dries quickly so can be recoated quickly, leaves a nice sparkle after only one coat, and soap & water clean-up is easy. (Stir well before applying to distribute the glitter throughout.) This is a multi-colored, iridescent glitter (holographic-like), not a solid silver. I would've been happy with a single silver color, but I'm very happy with this iridescent, also. It's not gaudy or childish looking. I liked the subtle, yet noticeable, effect after only a single coat, so I left it at that. Whether you want to add more coats (and more sparkle) is a personal choice, depending on the look you're going for. The glitter is fine textured so painting over it should be no problem, no preremoval necessary (at least not after the one coat I applied). Because my "moon" is high enough on the wall to be out of reach, I didn't put any kind of top coat over this glittery Mod Podge. If it was within reach or put on an item meant to be used, I would have top coated it since some of the glitter comes off when I wipe my hand lightly over it. (Probably would've tried 2-3 coats of "plain" Mod Podge over top.) As with all the Mod Podge products I've used through the years, I'm now a new fan of this glittery addition. I'm sure it will be one of those things I keep in stock, right alongside several other versions of this enduring crafters' classic.

Didn't find this product worked any better than cheaper priced regular sparkle but wanted to try. Priced way too high. Won't purchase again now that I know.

Easy to apply and was much cleaner than using glitter dust with glue. At first I could not see it enough to notice and did three layers but could have done just one after seeing how it came out.

Bought this for our Children’s Craft Corner. Easy to use and great results too!
