Mod Podge Hard Coat, 16 Ounce

I have multiple glues, but this is always the top glue coating topcoat base coat. It’s great it dries quickly. It’s not too thick. You can always water it down with a little water if you think it’s too thick but best value for the money by far.

Hard coat is the best choice. I have used them all but you can’t find hard coat in the stores. It’s durable and paint doesn’t chip or fade. I use it over wood and cardboard mostly. Trust me, it’s the best choice.

As a glue it’s great. As a glaze, you’ll need more than just these 16oz. I applied 6 coats and was getting a nice even glaze, however the thickness of it wasn’t doing it for me. I ended up getting a resin glaze from Home Depot and that did what I needed. Disappointing part of this Mod Podge is that some of the white never dried to a clear and that it does state it takes a total of 4 weeks to fully cure; while the resin glaze I got is 72 hours to fully cure.

Decoupaged this lovely dresser to go in the dogs' room. This was my first try at a project like this so before purchasing I read up on the different types of Mod Podge and decided to go with this for my furniture project. It's much thicker than the regular mod podge, but still goes on smooth and clear. The one 16oz jar wasn't enough to do the whole dresser in more than one light coat. I ended up purchasing a 32 oz jar of the regular stuff to give everything a couple more coats for the same price as this specialty version. It turned out beautiful but going on two weeks later and it still feels a bit tacky on the top and around the drawers. So much so that the top drawer actually got stuck to the top of the dresser. I was able to pry it open with minimal damage but its going to have to be remedied in order to make the drawer functional and I don't know how to get rid of this tacky feel. My first decoupage project turned out great and I would use this mod podge again but on a smaller project for the price.

I really like this but wish it didn't take so long to dry. So easy to use and clean up, though, and I like the glossy finish on my birdhouses.

el bote del producto venia un poco desgastado pero venía bien cerrado. Lo utilicé para repintar muebles de mdf y funciona excelente, ya no se descarapela la pintura

Muy buen producto. Me ha quedado muy bien! Da un toque satinado y muy elegante a los muebles adornados con papeles.

Ho ordinato tre flaconi di mod podge. Spedizione rapida ma uno era senza tappo e sono tutti e tre visibilmente datati. Spero non influisca sulle prestazioni.
