Crosswords & Word Searches, Grades 2 - 5 (Just Puzzling!) Paperback – April 2, 2012

I got this as a starter for my 7 year old and she LOVES them. I would say that Grade 1 would be a comfortable start for most kids with this book but that by 4th grade it would be WAY too easy.

Loved this book ! I bought this for my boys who were 5.5 . Some crosswords were hard and some were easy for them. The answers are provided in the same page in a box. I usually covered the answer box and asked them to try it on their own. Only if they couldn't figure it out, they would peek into the hint box ! It was challenging enough for them and it did keep them interested. Along with the crosswords, they love doing the word search.

It is listed for age 7+ but I'm concerned it is far below the ability of my 7 year old grandsonl. Otherwise it is full of crosswords and word searches that look fun just below level of my expectations.

Plenty of interesting word searches and puzzles to keep the kids occupied for several days.

Great for school aged kids, I enjoyed that the kids could help each other and work in teams!
