Very sturdy and easy to install
Very well built, installation was very easy and easy to follow instructions. I would definitely consider other products by Atlantic. Shipping was quick and on time!! After 1 day being installed in the pond, there is already a noticeable difference in pond clarity. Now it’s time to order and add the auto fill.

Turned my skimmer into a multi-staged filter
First off this is a high quality product. I added 3 layers of finer filter pads behind the included matela mat and bio media around my pump for my koi pond. I have to clean it weekly, but my pond water is crystal clear!

Great product, but pricey.
The only reason for 4 stars is the price. 5 stars in quality. Not sure how much R&D went into making this, but it's essentially a $200 glorified milk jug for ponds (not sure where the high price comes from). The fish-safe intake paddle works great.

Easy for fish to Enter
Ive had it for a year now and I’ve lost 4 fish sadly, right now I have a cheap pool skimmer head in front of the door. Also think about adding filter fabric, the filter that it comes with allows grass clippings a food pass right through.

Not fish safe as shipped!
So, I've had this skimmer installed for ~2 years and have generally appreciated how it's worked. However, I lost one large koi (and almost another) after they swam into the unblocked weir when I first installed it. Thankfully had an intuition to open the skimmer and have a look. One dead and one almost there...they had completely filled the skimmer and could not get out due to the construction and function of the weir. Be sure to add a grate or some sort of block or fish can get sucked in!
