Chef say's this is overpriced
I'm a chef and food writer, and my wife bought me this Hiteclife 28cm non-stick frying pan and it arrived with scratches on the non-stick surface, so I sent it back.In my opinion, as a chef who has used lots of brands of cookware on both sides of the Atlantic, this pan is overpriced at £34. When choosing a frying pan all of them have pluses and minuses. Aluminium frying pans warp overtime but they conduct heat evenly, stainless steel takes much longer to warp but it does not heat up evenly. So a modern frying pan with a composite bottom is a good choice if the build quality is good, but this frying pan's build quality is worth £20 not £34. Besides arriving with scratches, the pan surface looked very slightly uneven, so I took my spirit level and confirmed that. Eventually most frying pans become convex, so not all of the pan surface is touching the heat source, but you certainly don't want an uneven pan to begin with.

Good value for money
Good value for money. Best non-stick frying pan for making fried eggs ( yes, this is why I need a good non- stick frying pan) It came with a nice package and detailed instructions, lots of thing I wasn’t aware of when using non-stock frying pan. No wonder my old ones never last long. The only thing is the handle is metal too, and it gets warm a bit while cooking, but never hot, so that’s good. Overall, good value for money.

A frying pan useless for frying
When I read the manual I was shocked to learn that I can use the frying pan only on low to medium heat or the coating gets damaged. I wanted a frying pan for eg browning meat, which requires heat. So I have a frying pan which is useless for frying. The lid is difficult to clean as well, veg gets stuck between the glass and the metal rim. I will have to buy another frying pan, this one is useless.

Damage Caused
In general these pans are brilliant! My review isn’t about how good these pans are but more to highlight the fact that one of the pans has an imperfection to the bottom. Please please please check your pans that you purchase. I have fallen foul of this and have used my pans twice on a brand new induction hob, only to find that my pans have damaged my hob. To say I’m upset is an understatement!!!! My kitchen was finalised on Thursday 4th March and my new pans were purchased for me to use on my new hob. I’m now disgusted to look at my hob that is just days old because an imperfection on the bottom of one pan has scratched the glass surface in three different places!! This is unacceptable, especially owing to the fact that pans cost £140 for the set and my hob cost £300. If I continue to use the one pan I will cause further damage which I don’t want. My hob is ruined and I cannot use the larger saucepan again! 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Coming apart at the seams
Poor quality pan, after 4 months the bottom plate is come away from the pan. Utterly useless now. If I got a bad one happy to have it replaced and try another

Ignoring the whole questionable warranty they seem really good
These are a really lovely set of pans been using them for about a month now fantastic so far nothing sticks brilliant . Now the bad bit in the small print on the guarantee it states never use on high heat only ever cook on medium heat and never dry cook with the pans as this will void the warranty well I dry cook as in nuts and spices and tacos all the time also flat bread also many things need a higher heat to cook them it’s kinda chemistry so on that note they wouldn’t be fit for purpose it would have been nice to know this before I purchased them. We shall see how they stand the test of time last pans lasted 30 odd yearsAnd would still have them if they worked with an induction hob .

Good quality, Non-stick, easy to clean.
This pan has pretty good building quality, such as smooth handle, and plate pan. The pan is a non-stick pan, easy to cook. It is also very easy to clean. Good product.

Excellent pan!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have recently bought an induction pan and had to give away all my previous pans as they were not suited for the hob. I have decided to go with this one because it seemed the right size for my hob and also for myself. It is big enough to fry, stew, boil and make even soups. For a regular size meal portions, I would say, you would probably get about 4-6 portions. I have used it every day since bought, but never made a meal that would fill the pan - the biggest stew I made was about 3 quarters of the pan capacity and that was about 4 portions. It does not stick, very easy to clean, heats up really fast. At this point the induction hob and this pan it is everything that I need. One of the best investments that I made - excellent value for money.
