Repeat order
I have purchased many shower and tub water filters since our water is terrible. While nothing aside from investing in a kicked up whole house filtration will completely remedy it, these actually work surprisingly well! It truly helps with the mega amounts of chlorine that is added to our water and definitely helps with iron sediment somehow. I like that it is one of the only shower filters that removes some copper. (also high in our water) The only thing is that we need to replace them frequently due to our water quality, but I’m fine with that as our showering is more enjoyable and a bit healthier now. I haven’t had any of the leak issues that are stated in other reviews. We have 2 installed both bathrooms no problems.

No more iron water
Easy for me to install, with a new shower head, gaskets, and an extender rod all at the same time. Housing intact. Thought it was leaking initially but just needed to screw it on tighter. We moved to a house on a well with im assuming an extremely high iron content. The water is undrinkable, it tastes like blood. My hair was tinting orange. The shower wall would stain orange 3 days after cleaning it. It’s been a few weeks and no more orange water stains. I’ve even been filling up my water pitcher out of the shower head and it tastes great! Not really what this is intended for but hey, if it works it works.

Excellent for iron removal
I have insanely soft well water that has a crazy amount of iron in it. This has been the only shower filter out of several that I've tried that actually removes almost all of it. It only lasts me about 50-60 days before I have to switch the filters out, but it's worth it as it is saving my skin, hair and keeping me from having to scrub iron stains off my bathtub every week. The only issue is that I can see that will be an issue in the next few filter changes is the holder itself. It's plastic, and where the case screws back together, I can already see leaks from the edges where there were none to begin with. Eventually, I imagine I'll have order a whole new product- so I took 1 star away for that.

It works very well.
I've had mine for about a year now. I change the filter around every 3 months. I can see a HUGE difference in the quality of the water. I am here now to purchase 4 more filters that I'll use over the next year. I feel healthier because this filters out the chlorine and other stuff from my tap water.

Confirmed! Moolmang (UBS Inc) Vitamax Deluxe DS10 Filter
I got the Moolmang shower filter from UBS Inc. in Korea, and then later found this replacement on amazon. It is the same OEM, make, and model as the Moolmang (UBS Inc) Vitamax Deluxe DS10 Filter. Not a hammer & sickle imitation. Its just a change in ‘wrapper’ for U.S. customers. See pictures for OEM and specification data pictures of the boxes. Finally, I don’t have to wait weeks for a shipping!

Filter Cartridge Housing Leaks
First you should take note of this warning on the product page below the description:"Frequently returned itemCheck the product details and customer reviews to learn more about this item."Second, I couldn't find a shower filter of ANY type that didn't have a review about the cartridge leaking. I chose this one because it is easiest to change the cartridge without having to disassemble the shower head. The design looks like a good design, but it is built with chrome plated plastic. The chromed housing that the filter connects to would maybe work better if it were made from metal and had a decent O-ring. As it is, the leak isn't all that much, but for the money ($60) it should not leak at all. The other connections from the supply pipe to the shower head is okay, but wrap the teflon tape around the threads more than the instructions say. The threads are a rather loose fit unless you do this. Admittedly those connections are not leaking. And the water pressure has dropped a bit. Not enough to ruin your shower, but it is detectable.I purchased this activated charcoal filter only, to help eliminate the perceived chlorine in the municipal water supply. All the other shower filters advertise 8 to 15 layered filter medium inside, and some claim to reduce hard water (calcium carbonate). These claims are false, and the other multiple layers are not necessary unless maybe you are drawing water from a well. The city water supplied to your house is already filtered and treated so it doesn't have any of the things these filters claim to remove, and therefor they are useless. I researched the water quality reports in my city and the only thing that could be in there that you'd want to filter out is chlorine, which is used by the city as a disinfectant. No shower filter removes calcium carbonate which is dissolved in water that results in hard water. As a matter of fact, my city water supply cannot remove it either. If you have hard water problems call Culligan and buy a whole-house water softening system which uses salt and other chemically compounds to counter the calcium carbonate to make your water soft, but it doesn't filter out calcium either. To summarize, none of these damned things work, but this particular product may filter some chlorine. And with a leaky device, how effective is the filtering? I don't know. And After a week of use I do not notice any difference in the feel of my hair and skin. It is annoying and you feel ripped-off when this brand new item is installed properly as per the instructions and then leak the first time you put water through it. Honestly I was skeptical of all of these shower filters, but my girlfriend was insistent that she wanted to try one to help with brittle hair and dry skin after showering. She is not happy with it either. I am just more frustrated because I had to install it.This company needs to rethink and redesign their product so that it NEVER leaks. Then the filtering subject is another thing entirely. I say skip it. You don't need one anyway. The advertising for these things makes you star to think there are bad things in your water. There are not bad things in the municipal water that meet state and federal standards coming to your home.

Great quality for the price
Of course this filter will not filter out every single thing on the water, but listen it filters enough!! I have well water and I can't install a home water system yet and the water is really hard and have a really heavy metallic smell and this filter does wonders. The water fells fresh, and have no smells. This is a picture of the filter after a month and half. I do have do change it every 2 months cuz my quality of water it's bad. But I never loss pressure, I just notice the smells come back a little bit when it's time to change the filter.

Cap falls off frequently.
Easy to install. Changing the filter is a breeze. My only turn off is that the aqua younth cap frequently falls off the base. It's extremely loud when it that cap hits the tub.
