Great for learning how to count
My little guy is two and he loves throwing things. So we found some things he CAN throw without worrying about breaking things. These are perfect. They are pretty small which can be good and bad. .The bad is that they can get lost pretty easily. My three boys like to throw them at each other (not what we intended) and they are difficult to keep track of.The good is that they fit the little hands and you can set up a small container that the little can throw them into. I like to tell him to find the different numbers and throw them in. It's a fun little activity that keeps him busy and helps him learn.

I searched high and low... these are the best bean bags for toddlers!
This review is a bit of a saga...I searched high and low for bean bags to help my toddler learn the difference between items "okay to throw" and items "NOT okay to throw." I was looking for something well-made, safe, and sized for toddler hands so that he could have an outlet for his desire to throw things without damaging the house or hurting others. These are really the best. Highlights are:1) Sized for toddlers. This means that they fit perfectly into a young child's hand and weigh enough to give them satisfaction without being too hard to toss. If you are expecting adult-sized, you will be disappointed.2) Soft and well-made.3) Includes embroidered bag to hold all the bean bags.4) Each bean bag has an embroidered number on one side, and the spelled out number on the other. Very educational and smart.I can't stress this enough-- the bean bags are TODDLER SIZED. Many reviewers found fault with the sizing, but I think they are true to the description and purpose.

Great! And durable!
I love this brand! My girls are small, 24months and 12 months, so these bean bags will last a good while and it’s great to introduce them early and with these you don’t have to worry about replacing flash cards every so often because they will endure the throwing, the bitting all that young toddlers could do, if you have also bought their color bean bags the squares are not as big as the color ones, the number squares are smaller 2x2 inches instead of the 3x3 inches the color bean bag squares are. Either way I love them and my girls love playing with them.

Perfect for little hands
These are well made with good stitching and embroidered numbers/words on the bags. I thought the bags were really small at first when I opened the box, but then my kid picked some up and it became clear that they are just right for young kids. These bags can be used for many purposes and I don't have to worry as much about my kids using them inapproriately (throwing them at each other) because they are soft.

Bean bag numbers
My son loves these. He carries them around the house all the time. Tosses them for throwing practice. Looks at the numbers for number learning. Uses them as play food, etc. Good bean bags.

Had them over a year and still finding new uses
These have been a mainstay for us since we got them over a year ago. They are tough. Easy to clean, throw in washer. Cute. Nice size. We use them for homeschool to make math fun. Our two boys (4&6) just like to play with them too. (we had to make an immed no-hurling rule or they get taken away, but they learned quickly) (I must say, tho, they don't really hurt when you get hit) When you open your mind to creative uses for these, the possibilities are endless. Their fave game: hand it to them word side up, they read it, turn over to confirm right or wrong, if right, toss in a bucket and get a reward. :) They like to use them as a change of pace for addition/subtraction, pull two numbers out the bag and make the equation. Used them when first teaching odd/even numbers. Also a great help when my oldest kept confusing 12 and 20. Oh, and they love to pretend like these are money bills and make up a store with their toys to buy things. I'm always finding new uses. Sometimes they sit for a few weeks and then they are rediscovered and loved all over again. Just make sure you count them all when they go back in the bag! (an excellent way to reinforce counting by 2s ;)

Highly Recommended Learning Tool!
This has been one of the most useful learning tools we have purchased to date for our budding three year old! The bean bags are small, but perfect for little hands. There are endless games that can be played with these and it keeps her attention. She asks to do her numbers every night before bed! Would recommend these without hesitation!
