It works as advertised, instant and temporary. The color needs to be reapplied after showering unless you don’t wash your face. Color has not rubbed off on pillows while sleeping.

I purchased their auburn color to touch up a few small gray patches and it worked just as described. During my search for a red collar, I was striking out, but Volt definitely came through clutch. I will be making on this purchase again when needed.

I prefer to dye my beard, but as dye fades, or I'm just being lazy, this is an okay product for quick cosmetic tinting. It DOES work short term. Looks like a mascara, but is combed into beard. It will stain skin, so be careful if you do not have their cleaner which was, surprisingly, not included with this refill purchase. My biggest problem with this product is it will fade after a few hours, and for amount supplied, I find very costly. I apply in Morning before work, and it mostly faded by mid-afternoon. If it didn't fade so quickly, I might be less annoyed by the cost. ALSO, when applying, be aware of surroundings and go slow. If you brush too aggressively or fast, it has a habit if going everywhere and permanently staining. I have little dots around my bathroom mirror and on sink, tiles on wall, and it takes serious scrubbing (i.e, Brillo) to remove those specks. As for mirror's wood frame, I can't find anything that removes those splotches (without marring finish), so be aware. Same applies to clothing.

First 9 days great.. after 15 days.. even retouch all day. does not keep on the beard anymore! I have to retouch every 1 hour.. and now.. its not workinga anymore! I will buy again to test.. but I do not recomend! the last photo is the last day i am using! its not go black anymore like the first day! even if you brush and brush over and over.. still grey in a lot of areas! GOnna buy again for a final decision! but now, I am upset! i read so many bad reviews, I changed mine to one star as well! its not working anymore, even I still have 70% of the liquid inside!

Very easy to use and extremely convenient! As other dying products cause terrible allergic reaction. This product eliminates that, and offers a very way for me to dye my beard. I highly recommend it.

Excellent product. And I have tried so many different ones but this is the only one that really works.. it stays on even after showering unless you shampoo it off it will stay. Only downside is that is a bit on the expensive side but didn't really mind as it will last a long time as I only use it on a small area of my beard but definitely recommend this and I will be buying again for sure.

The product is very easy to use and covers the grey with a natural feel. The color was perfect as well. Will repeat purchase.

I bought the two pack refill. Good thing because the brush on the first one broke under the cap the first time I used it. The color is nice matches my light brown. It makes your beard feel coarse and wiry. I use women's Garnier Nutrisse hair color for my head and beard because it is cheaper than men's color and the conditioner leaves my beard nice and soft. I slept with the Volt color on and it didn't come off at all. I used my beard wash the next day and some of the color came off. My beard still felt coarse and yucky. I didn't completely put Volt all over my beard the second time. I think this will be useful for just touching up new white hair growth in between box coloring. It doesn't make your beard nice to touch even after brushing. I don't think your supposed to brush the beard after applying this stuff anyways.

The product seems to work well but the applicator snapped off the cap after the third light stroke through my beard. Now I will have to get my fingers dirty every time I use this! Why do companies sell products of such low quality?
