Seems sturdy. Works well with the Surface Pro. You do need to use the appropriate charger.

While this adapter fits into my Microsoft Surface Pro newest version just fine, it does not fit into the adapter and requires something else in order to work. It arrives in a small yellow bubble envelope appearing new and unused.

I purchased this product because I was tired of caring the original charge in my backpack. It made my bag heavier and in college, it's not fun to walk up and down campus with a heavy bag. I tried to look for a smaller charger that wouldn't add much weight to my bag. I found this one for a good price, with decent shipping fees. However, this cable does not work at all. It lights up but does not charge my laptop. In addition to not working it makes this weird squeaking sound when plugged in which is annoying(sounds like it's going to blow up). It turned out that it works, but it needs adapter with higher wattage. I got 65W adapter and it started charging.I recommend this product.

The charger charges with blinks. It’s hard to describe but it’s Spanish like it charges for one second then stops then charges for another second then stop and keeping doing that.

I've been using USB C chargers for years, with two different HP Spectre X360's and then my until recent Dell XPS13. I have a couple small USB C wall warts that were FAR better to carry in my laptop bag than the big chargers that came with the laptops.I saw this, and since I just purchased a Surface Pro 7 to replace the Dell, I wanted this option for when I'm out and about at a client site.Works great. I have no issues charging the SP7 using this and my 90W USB C wall wart that I had for the Dell.Any time I can get the same features as something in a fraction of the size and weight, I'm happy. This lets me leave the more clunky OEM charger at home.

The charger that came with the Surface Pro stopped charging because the cord was frayed. This replacement charged the Surface in a shorter time than I expected. So glad I was able to find this replacement charger. It didn't come with a plug but I can plug it directly into a USB port on my power strip.

This is a good replacement for a little while but the full charge takes hours.
