Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix Volume 2 picks up where volume 1 ends. Sora, Donald, and Goofy continue their adventures across the worlds fighting Heartless and Disney villains while collecting Ansem’s reports. Along the way, they run into Riku, but he’s changed. He’s become cold and cruel, and believes Sora abandoned him and Kairi to play hero. All while the plan of the villains threatens to reach fruition. Will our three heroes manage to stop it? Or are the worlds doomed to fall?As a fan of the games, I still enjoy reading the adventures in manga format. We get to see more personality from each of the characters who are allowed to behave more like themselves. Plus we also get to see some additional faces in the worlds that didn’t make it into the games. If you love Disney or the games, I would recommend you picking up this title.There isn’t anything to be worried about in this manga. Some of the Heartless are scary in design, and there are moments of intensity.This manga could be used to discuss the struggle between good and evil, and how in the end good will prevail. This story can also be used to illustrate the power of having faith and hope even in the hardest of times.

Was just playing the game and some of these lines I can hear. I love this game so much. After seeing some of the cutscenes and hearing some of the music that goes in the background you start to get choked up.

Yen Press did a great job re-releasing the Kingdom Hearts Mangas. The translation is completely redone, and each volume this time around contains two of the volumes you could buy back in the day. So even though these books are more expensive than the individual original ones, they're technically the same price as before, or even a little less depending on where you buy them. My only complaint is that this new version erases a lot of the Japanese sound effects, which I always enjoyed reading to practice Japanese sound effects in the original Tokyopop ones! It wasn't a deal breaker for me, though, so I wasn't that disappointed. As for the story, if you've never played the games, it's not the worst entry into the series ever, but the pace is a little odd, so without any prior knowledge everything might seem a little sudden and random. For someone like me who's played all the games, though, this manga is a great way to revisit everything from the first game! I highly recommend these Mangas for anyone who is interested in Kingdom Hearts!

If you are big fan of the Kingdom Hearts like me, I ensure you will love this. Even if you haven't play the games and you want to know what the story is about reading the mangas is good starting point.

As I hadn't played the first Kingdom hearts games I thought I'd read this to understand the story more and it really helped. Would recommend to Kingdom hearts fans.

OMG!! i loved it so much!! had such a great nostalgic feeling. it follows the game as much as you need to understand what’s going on. but it also has lots of funny moments that aren’t in the game. if you love Kingdom Hearts why are you even debating? Buy this
