Durable and make learning fun!!
My daughter is obsessed with these things!! She is on the autistism spectrum and this has been one of her comfort toys going on 6 years. We have one in every color and she carries it everywhere. They are durable and promote learning, which as a mother I love!!

This game is absolutely adorable.
Smarty paws! This game is absolutely adorable. Reasons? It makes me want to be a kid again..and I'm 22 years old. This game has every child's dream as my younger sister cannot put this down for a second.Pros:-Features letters, counting, number order and matching (but of course, my favorite feature is the ability to change the screen color, I know weird right??)-Great motivational tool - when getting an answer wrong, the tone of the game makes you want to keep trying! I love how it depicts a bear holding a wilting flower and says aww, try again!-Has a great mental break feature, piano playing-Buttons are easy to push, making it a strong sturdy item that will seemingly last a long time-LOUD! I thought from the small item, the speakers would be sub-par but boy, I was wrong!-Automatic shut-off is a major plus! Children tend to forget this all the time which wastes a lot of batteriesMinor Cons:-Wish there was a way to change the brightness...even without the color background it can be a bit difficult to see.-Screen size although seemingly big on this tablet, I wish it was a bit bigger because I would be afraid of my younger sister playing on this tablet for more than 30 minutes a day.-Maybe a color other than pink for the boys!Overall, this is a solid product that is a fantastic educational tool. The theme song is catchy, and the picture of the bear is so cute! I would buy this product 100x again.

Two of my children now have it! We love the VTech Little Apps Tablets-It is tremendous!
We have had several VTech Little Apps Tablets. Initially, we received it for my two-year-old as a gift and he fell in love. At first, it began with just poking buttons and moving the little tab but it grew into a wonderful experience for him. He learned so much that it is unbelievable. Scout (the main character) in the tablet taught him to count, letters, numbers, shapes, and so much more. He would surprise us all the time with what he learned. After he had it for six months, he dumped a glass of milk on it and we immediately replaced it. It is not liquid friendly by any means. Now my second child who is 1 1/2 has taken interest in little phones, tiny tablets, and all of his older brothers' toys that make noise. The Vtech tablet did not survive because it began to glitch. I have ordered him a new VTech Tablet and am so happy that he gets to explore the world of wonder that this brother so adored. This is a wonderful tablet. It is full of adventure and learning.

If you want a simple and affordable kids computer than this is it
This toy was under 15 bucks shipped and and it is a great entry into getting a child his/her first tablet. This tablet does NOT have touchscreen, and is quite limited in terms of programs, but the programs it does contain are good and i believe that this is a great teaching tool to pick up before investing 50+ dollars into one of the more versatile tablets . In fact for the 2/3 year old the limitations on this model make it more user friendly(they are not just swiping pictures on a screen) with the keyboard interface being good for sensory and motor development. Several years ago this would have been one of the 50+ dollar kids computers- now it's the cost of a pie of pizza. Good to have around for the 2-5 year old. The piano is fun and the abc's and other programs make this entertaining even for the 5-7 year old, that is until they get ipad or leapfrog envy. Overall a good purchase at a good price. More like an old school pre-programmed kids laptop than a proper tablet but fun, functional, and compact nonetheless.A note on the volume: The volume of the unit out of the box is loud and annoying. The volume can be turned down and it's not that bad, especially if your already used to kids music/electronic toys.

So many Amazing Features! I am including a VIDEO of this thing in Action!
The media could not be loaded. This is a nice tablet. I got it for my soon to be one year old's birthday who is fascinated with my phone. There is an incredible amount of functions and activities for this tablet. Many different color screens as well. I suspect my 3 year old is going to get quite a bit of play out of this as well. ABCs, 123s, Rhyming games, Spelling games, Music Games, so much more. Adjustable volume, screen changes color.I am trying to include a video of the amazing functions included in this tablet. I think you guys should get to see how it works. Im just impressed on how much it does for the price.I enjoy VTECH toys so much. They always seem to impress me.

Fun toy for preschoolers!!!!
I love all the features this toy offers for such an affordable price, there are numbers and the alphabet and and lots of fun exercises to do while playing around with the numbers and the ABC's. Its simply up to the parent to sit with their child and teach them also, too many parents these days want toys to teach their kids but they don't want to have to invest any time into helping them also, so if the kids aren't learning they immediately criticize the toy and are really fast to give it a bad review here. My daughter owns quite a few V tech toys and I am not saying all V tech toys are great and geared toward learning , we as parents just have to remember its only a toy and we cant substitute a toy for a person that would sit and explain everything the toy is doing. I am doing this with my daughter at the moment and she is really smart and she is only 20 months. As for the features of the toy, the buttons are flat and not raised and the screen is not colored but the voice used is cute and not irritating as is the problem with a lot of the toys these days. Its not obnoxiously loud and that was a plus for me also, the keyboard is really fun and my daughter enjoys playing the music there, when she gets a little older and is speaking properly I will begin to teach her everything this wonderful toy has to offer. The packaging was easy to open and it was still secure enough so the toy wasn't moving around in the box. It was delivered well before the estimated date of delivery also.
