Stop thinking and just Scooby-Doo it!
This inflatable is so cute. Especially if you have a great Dane like I do. It looked great standing next to our Santa and we got lots of compliments from visitors and neighbors. This inflatable held the air and we never had a problem with deflation. Do yourself a favor and Scooby Doo this.

ONLY 3.5 FT TALL, NOT 5FT
The inflatable is nowhere near 5ft tall, we measured it at about 42-43inches (3.5ft). It also is not as good of quality compared to other inflatables that I have. There was a small hole in the inflatable. The box came looking pretty beat up as well, with some of the product sticking out of the side. Overall, very disappointed and will be returning. Not worth the money for all the defects.

A surprise for my daughter
When my daughter opened it up she had to blow it up in her kitchen because it was too windy outside it came in a plastic bag so there was no box stating what the blowup was she was smiling from ear to ear

Weak motor but Kids loved it.
I do a pretty big, non computerized Christmas light display with string lights, homemade accouterments, and most popular with kids, about 25 inflatables of variant size and value. My 10 ft. Olaf has been the one they run to first for like 8 years now, or else my 4 ft. tinsel Elmo that goes back like 15 years. This year, Scooby stole the show from them. So I can't complain too much. He's hard to find. Thus three stars. You pretty much get what you pay for with inflatables. The $100 buck and up ones blow up easy and without your help, they are of a thicker material so they they are less prone to air leaks after severe weather, they're motors last a long time, the inner lights are brighter, and they blow up nice and tight. The cheaper ones can do the job and be very nice though, it's kind of of a 50/50 hit and miss. But if they only last a couple of years, the character depicted may be out of fashion by then anyway and if you loose one to the motor vent icing over and burning out the servo, which can and does happen to the side vented inflatables, you don't loose much. Then as well, the small ones tend to make the big ones look bigger. This one is a miss. The motor was too weak to fully blow up the inflatable, or else the fabric was leaky. I looked for holes and there were none, but it could be poor stitching allowing too much air to pass too. I tend to think I just got a weak servo motor though. It would get Scooby inflated, but could never fill the candy cane, and mild winds kept blowing Scoob down on his face or back. Can't have the neighborhood kids seeing Scooby in peril now. So quickly seeing how popular her was, I did manage to salvage him rather than messing with a return. What I did was duct tape the top of his elf hat to a shepherd's hook from my garden and spruced it all up a little by hanging some big homemade ornaments I made with some cheap colored playground balls from the curves on the shepherd's hook. Then with him being already upright, he blew up easily, while sometimes I still had to untwist the candy cane by hand. But he withstood the wind just fine.So like I said, this inflatable was a big hit this year so I'll say it's OK and I'll get as many years out of it as I can. It looks great! But I really wouldn't recommend you buy it unless you have a big Scooby Doo fan in the family, not at this price. The servo motor just isn't powerful enough.
