These are wonderful espresso cups and the lid makes them even better in that it keeps the espresso hotter for a longer time.Also the double sided cups keeps your fingers from burning.Would I recommend these cups. Absolutely.1/4/2017 update. UNPARALLELED CUSTOMER SERVICE. A couple of months after receiving them I noticed a crack just below the rim in one of the cups. I emailed customer service, got a reply the next day simply requesting my Amazon order number for the cups and a few days later received not one but TWO replacement cups. Am I a happy camper or what!

I'm an espresso coffee drinker and I have all kind of coffee makers and many espresso coffee cups set however I never thought to have a cup that keeps my drink warm enough so I can enjoy my drink a little bit longer.When I received package one of Lids was broken and I sent email to company (Alpha) for my surprise they answered in less than 6 hours and in less than 48 hrs I received replacement! These little cups with lids are wonderful for taking outside. I like that I don't have to worry about a wasp or other insect flying into my espresso when I'm out in the garden. They are very delicate, so, I'm always careful about where I put my cup down. Delivery was on schedule & they were well wrapped to protect from breakage. These are a great choice. Neat little espresso cups. Very fragile though. I wouldn’t put them in the dishwasher. Lids are only meant to keep the espresso warm, not for traveling. Disclaimer in the product details. Would work great for guests. They are much cooler to the touch than a regular glass, which is why I chose the doubled wall glass. Not much room for anything other than the shot. I would get a bigger glass if your looking to have a regular sized espresso with milk. Overall, really happy with the product!

They look great sitting on my desk (at work) when they're not in use. Definitely holds the temperature well with the double-walled outside & w/ the addition of the lid, it holds it even better.Only 'cons' (& they really aren't even cons, per se) are that my cups don't have the Alpha Coffee printed on the bottoms like I've seen in other review photos & something that would make this five stars would be the addition of some sort of seal for the lid(s).

These espresso cups are beautiful, simple and elegant. They are delicate so definitely a "wash by hand" item. The double wall of the cups effectively keep the outside wall of the glass from becoming to hot. The outside is warm when filled with espresso but not uncomfortably so. The cups arrived quickly but one lid was broken. 48hrs after emailing Alpha coffee, I received a response back that a replacement was on it's way. By the end of the week, I had the replacement. I really appreciate the quick response to replace the broken lid.I'm thinking of giving these as gifts to my espresso-drinking friends.

These double wall espresso cups are absolutely fantastic! Quality the glass is superb and keep my Cuban coffee hot and Frothy. My favorite aspect of these cups is the Snap-on lids. the lids have a nice snug fit and nothing Spilled Out. I highly recommend these espresso cups. Don't look any further, buy these!

The size of this product was exactly the amount needed for a bariatric post-op "meal." We used it to keep broths & thin soups warm(er) because he could only sip. The lid isn't tight at all. It kind of rattles around when you carry the cup. If the lid had a better seal, the liquids inside would likely stay warmer longer. Helpful product for us in general though! Nice to use glass instead of those disposable cups.

I bought these to use with my home espresso machine. At about 7 cm tall, they fit under the spout thingamy, unlike every other cup in our house. I'm not sure what they are made of. It seems like a kind of crystal, but it doesn't take too much of the heat from the coffee, which is what is needed.

Arrived the next day and are perfect for my double espresso. The lid keeps it warm for quite a while. Love them.

Great little double skinned cups. Tops are useful in preserving heat and can double as saucers. Nice buy.
