Rothco ABS Mich-2000 Replica Tactical Helmet

This helmet is a great value for the price! If you were to buy another helmet like this you would be spending over $60! The helmet has really nice padding and is made of a really sturdy plastic. I use it to play airsoft to complete my loadout/look and it functions and looks really great with it. If you are looking to use this for a costume or for airsoft, this is the helmet for you!

Pros : great quality great for AIRSOFT or paintball. Comfortable looks awesome. Cons : a little bit confusing putting a cover on it but figured it out, had to take the stuff out of the pads to fit my head because they were too big. That’s pretty much it great product overall 👍.

This is a great MICH 2000 type helmet. It comes with removable Velcro pads that are a little too thick (makes it sit way up on your head), so you might want to remove or replace those, but otherwise it's a good helmet. It's modeled after the current issue US army helmet. It has a smaller profile than the old PASGT K-pot, which is also sold by Rothco, but provides better visibility and is great for paintball or airsoft since the reduced profile allows more room for a mask.

As you may or may not know..most players playing airsoft use only sunglasses or army type issue goggle that strap over the helmet and those work fine for this helmet and if i were ratting it for airsoft use i would give it 4 stars as for the price and how its made except for the foam padding inside to bulky and useless you would need to cut and modify...now for paintball use it is useless paintball masks sit higher on you face and cannot be strapped over the helmet and must fit under the helmet..the top of the paintball mask hits the front rim of the helmet thus the helmet does not sit properly on your head and is suspended higher than it should..not it gives no protection on the back of your neck and head because of this..so that is the reason I'm rating so low..not meant for paintball..by the way i tried this with 5 different masks all the same results

Excellent product. With modifications to the padding and straps it can fit a wide variety of people. Also, good recreation of the actual helmet.

I bought this helmet on November 20th and I had free standard shipping. It finally got to me today (November 29th)! When I first saw the package, I was hoping for an awesome airsoft helmet... I got what I was hoping to receive. I open the box and the first thing I noticed was that it came in a plastic cover with lightweight foam padding protecting it from scratches. It came with the instructions on how to return it... but not on how to adjust it.I tried it on and it fit great, looked even better than the images of it I saw! I was adjusting the straps, and the screws holding the straps fell out. I was thinking to myself that I was going to regret buying this. I figured out that the screws takes Phillip head screwdrivers or flat-head. I took some pliers, tightened the nut up to the inside of the helmet, then I took a flat-head and tightened the screws very tight. Other than some loose screws here and there, I had no problem with it at all! It is a very hard, cool, and sturdy ABS Plastic helmet that would be great for Airsoft, Paintball, Bike riding and more!Pros:- Strong ABS Material- Chin strap is adjustable- Patting can be taken off or put back on- Very comfortable for a helmet- Very sharp lookingCons:- Loose screws out of the box- Lack of instructions- Spending alot of time adjusting the helmet itselfOverall though, this is a great product by rothco, and I would definitely recommend it!!!

I choose to purchase this helmet as a replica for my youngest son who plays airsoft. It looks great and I would assume a perfect fit for a young boy ages 8-13 years.Unfortunately, as I opened the package to wrap Xmas gifts this weekend I discovered a 4 inch crack along the left side temple of the helmet. Needless to say I was a little less than happy. I inspected the box it was shipped in and could not find any evidence of the container having been crushed during shipping. One would discern that the vendor sent the helmet with the crack without verifying that it was in, at least, usable shape.I gave this product three stars as I believe the product to be as advertised (less the crack); however, I will reserve the right upgrade or repost pending the outcome of the customer service that I receive.
