Always loved this band.This home made Heavy and Great sounding album put out by British singer and guitarist. I got this record in the 80's real cheap with the photo's on the cover. Mint condition. In the early 90's I traded it for a few CD's. This might be my old record recording.Brother can you spare me a few bucks???

Not what I expected...
Ive been buying alot of these obscure' 70s recordings lately...going mostly by reviews since most people I know only listen to popular music and wouldn't know of such obscure recordings from great bands such as Budgie, Lucifer's Friend, Hawkwind, Pink Fairies, Audience, Leaf Hound, Fuzzy Duck, Nektar, Trapeze,...the list goes on... But this album, along w/the 2 Wicked Lady albums which boasted the same guitarist, are somewhat of a disappointment to me. While the other bands I mentioned sound so great that they're absolutely timeless...these albums seem totally outdated in comparison. Maybe they just shouldn't be compared. It's not that it sucks or anything...just not my bag, I guess.

Great digipak cover,great sound....classic wild old mystery album. Buy it NOW! This is a reissue as they should be done.

Almost a Classic
Equal parts Cream and Black Sabbath... with a heavy dose of Jefferson Airplane for good measure. The instrumentation is solid throughout, the songwriting is pretty even, though some of the lyrics make the album feel a bit dated. Definitely worth checking out as an overlooked gem.

Un piccolo capolavoro di prog: sei brani di durata superiore ai 5 minuti, la cui impostazione fatta di temi e riff che si susseguono è sicuramente progressiva, anche se il sound è originale e diverso dalle altre band dell'epoca, in un'ideale confluenza di progressive, hard rock, psichedelia e West Coast... un po' di Wishbone Ash, qualcosina dei Quicksilver Messenger Service. Rock a due chitarre che si intrecciano senza fronzoli e virtusosismi, ma creano un wall of sound di grande impatto. Validissima la sezione ritmica.Per appassionati, ma anche per tutti coloro che volessero capire cosa significava mettere in piedi una rock band, con talento e passione, nel 1972.
