Adds Versatility to Boss GT Series
I have bought two of these from Amazon. I use one for my Boss GT-1 and I am using the other for Boss GT-100. For Boss GT-1, I have it in stomp box mode connected to my amp FX loop for chorus, flanger, delays. The FS-7 allows me to add two additional stomps. Totally fun for me to use this way, as long as you can figure out how to program the GT-1. Or if you can use it as additional CTL pedals for presets and banks to program boosts or solo presets, the FS-7 will get you there. I bought a second one for use with GT-100 and I know it will work to do the same, just haven’t had time to set it up. Works great and is an upgrade and space saver from using Boss FS-5 and FS-6. This product came with TRS cable that also connects to power, so my GT-1 and FS-7 connect to the same Boss adapter. If you like Boss GT series, you need the FS-7 to expand and explore more possibilities.

Smaller than you'd think but very useful
I was very surprised about the size of this switch. It's not much bigger than a regular Boss pedal. Despite the small size, the two buttons are pretty big and it's easy to hit one and not the other. I use this as a foot controller for a Boss RC-5, but I'm sure there are a lot of other pedals you can use this with. Like all Boss pedals, this thing is very sturdy and I have no qualms about stomping on it.Be sure to use a TRS cable, a standard instrument cable/patch cable is only TS and it won't work right.

Simple, sturdy, and versatile
I'm using this footswitch to add some additional ways to control functions on my Boss Loop Station. The switch allows you to select whether you want to have the switch work in momentary mode or latch mode and also gives the flexibility to have each individual switch assigned either to one device or split them up (this would take an additional TRS cable). Overall I am happy with it and the only thing that would be a slight knock against it is that is built with the front being thinner than the rear making it wedge shaped (see pic). This cause me a slight issue with the bottom switch being to low if there is a pedal underneath it. It was an easy enough fix by using a wedge doorstop underneath the switch to lift the lower part up and make it level with the rest of the board and making the "B" switch accessible.

Works as expected.
Works well and no glitches. I have a few other switches but they aren’t too reliable with my RC600 so I just use the Boss foot pedals.

It's cool, and small, tough, but don't know if it's worth the price they ask
I bought this thing, and it does what it's supposed to. It's small, versatile, tough and looks cool. But I don't know if it's really worth the price they want, as there are many others out there for half the price. However, if you're a die hard BOSS/Roland fan n have to have it like me, it won't disappoint you. I don't regret buying mine, and I like it. But I believe we're paying for a name here after $50 it's the Nike switch lol.

Great addition to the RC-3 looper - works without need for power supply.
Best foot switch for the RC-3 looper.I tried hard to find a cheaper alternative to this but none had the RC-3's full foot switch functionality - only the stop function worked with another cheaper but still reputable product, the memory slot shift on the second button did not work. This FS-7 just works. Boss did it again I am afraid I have to admit. This pairs great with the RC-3 looper and enables foot switch enabled single-press stop function as well as shifting up and down the memory slots. I like the memory slot shift as it allows me to record single chord comping on each memory slot and then improvise, deciding ad-hoc when to switch chords. The pedal is very compact yet the two pedals are shaped smartly to just work well. I am glad I did not get the larger FS-6.Also, a fact that I read little about is that the FS-7 does actually not need to be plugged into any electricity supply in order to be fully operable with the RC-3. The momentary switch functionality required to trigger all functions for the RC-3 work without plugging in. I like this as it reduces cable clutter and also run the RC-3 from a rechargeable 9V battery. I run a wireless receiver into the RC-3 IN and a short instrument cable from the RC-3 OUT into my amp... so the RC-3/FS-7 combo is attached only to one cable that goes to the amp.

Quality product
This is a very solid piece of hardware. Feels like it’s made really tough. The one issue I have with this purchase (I didn’t take any stars away for it) it doesn’t come with a power cord. It runs off the power cord. Without a power cord you cannot use this device. Power cord sold separately. That’s not too big of a deal it is important to know if you plan on using it when you get it. Roland , Thanks for making awesome products.
