Colour bleeding
I paint watercolour landscapes and was initially very pleased with the first colour wash for a sky. However, after the first wash was completely dried overnight, I started to paint the foreground and it was a disaster. Despite painting wet on dry, unpainted paper, the foreground bled upwards into the previous wash - it was like painting on cartridge or blotting paper. I tried a drier wash and the colour still bled beyond the brush strokes. I definitely will not be buying this paper again.

Does not bulge
No preparation to prevent bulging, responds well to multiple wet layers, scratching, salt, whatever you throw at it. Paint right in the block, no taping need.
