So these came rolled up and the price was great. But we did have a difficult time getting them smoothed out to lay flat. So I decided to try to use a hair dryer to see if a little heat would coax out the wrinkles. It worked, but I used too much heat (in a hurry) and melted a small piece of the substrate in the shape of a circle by placing the hair dryer directly against it. It's not a big deal, but I learned the hard way that the LOW setting is plenty enough heat, don't get the dryer too close to the mat, and test a scrap piece or an inconspicuous area first. Proceed with caution!!! I love the mats.

I love these for our bearded dragon, Liz. They clean up nicely and I swap them out for new ones every so often. It fits a little higher than the sides of the bottom of our 55 gallon tank which he loves so he can hide under it at times. Also his claws NEVER get caught on these ones!!!

Got this for my bearded dragon tank.Good for the price. It do not lay flat but I have other objects on it so it doesn’t look bad at all. Would buy agin

Easy to cut to the perfect size, easy to clean! We got the blue and the color is vivid and works well with out Bearded Dragon.

Seemed like a great idea but its too much hassle to keep up on cleaning and they smell way more quicker then bark.. going back to bark.. i cant be cleaning every day its too much with my work schedule ..product was fine, but thin and wetness seeped threw cage into wood... im going back to bark !

This reptile carpet does what it is supposed to in our leopard gecko's habitat. It's a little difficult to get clean but lots of rinsing helps. When feeding, we've had to watch for fibers being caught up along with the crickets. It's not too rough on our gecko's feet. We are looking at other options, but this is fine for now.

It looks great, I used little Velcro hooks under it to help hold it down. The folds from shipping didn't let it sit flat even with cutting it some. But it looks way cleaner than the sand I am used to using.
