Old school potty training
This is kiddo #6, so I have some experience with potty training ;) We have run the gamut of diapers to pull-ups, diapers to cloth training pants with "rubbers" over them, diapers to regular underwear. I even had one kid that would only "go" if he was outside and could aim at a tree (thanks dad!). So this go around I wanted to try these. I like the protection of pull-ups but felt like they were too comfortable for my kids and without that feeling of wetness they were less inclined to be diligent about using the potty.First these are very reminiscent of the old school cloth trainers. A little thick, very soft, absorbent but still with the wet feeling should there be an accident. The addition of the PUL layer reminds me of the newer cloth diaper covers and give an extra layer of protection. It won't hold in a niagra falls, but it will keep your carpet or floor safe from a creek or stream sized accident. My son liked the designs, especially the cars and construction vehicles. The striped ones were acceptable to him, if less well received. That really helped with getting him interested in wearing them. (as the Baby of the family he is less eager to grow up and use the big boy potty)My only complaint is that it is a bit of a struggle for him to pull them up by himself. Not sure there is a way around that as the leg holes obviously have to be a little tight to prevent leakage. All in all, not a purchase I regret and they certainly have been a great help transitioning to big boy undies!

Great
True to size as long as you don’t have a chunky leg child! 3T fits perfect for my almost 3 year old that’s roughly 32lbs and 50th percentile. This is great for kids that are mostly potty trained. My almost 3 year old is 90% potty trained. He forgets to tell someone when he’s playing. During quiet time in his room he was having full blown accidents and I was tired of scrubbing the carpet. He wears these during that time he’s alone and when he starts to go he calls me and there have been no puddles to clean up! Only once did he fully empty his bladder and peed through the undies. So it’s best for just little to medium tinkle accidents.

Love these except for the tag placement.
My son LOVES these undies. We use them for daycare (with a cover) while he's potty training and when we go on longer drives or outings. Definitely still need a cover if you're worried about getting your carseat wet as they'll still get soaked with big pees. Knocked it down to 4 stars because the tag is on the outside on the side so it's not easy to tell which is the front versus the back when trying to quickly get dressed. Also not helpful if your child wants to dress independently. But with all that said I already ordered a second set, so definitely still recommend.

Great for potty training overnight
Excellent for potty training at night. We decided to get rid of all diapers in the home & strictly have our son wear underwear. This is great for bedtime. Especially since we knew the chances of an accident happening overnight was expected. We did originally order a 2t which fit a little snug so we went up a size and felt it wasn’t as tight which made our toddler feel more comfortable keeping them on.
