Singer 151 3-Inch Folding Scissors

I needed a pair of travel scissors for my cross stitch projects, and these tiny scissors are perfect. They are very sharp and cut my thread with no issues at all. Be careful when folding them up, though...folding them is a bit tricky to do until you get the hang of it. I love that they have a hole where you could thread something through to help keep them handy, as well. For a lot of cutting, I'm not sure they would be very comfortable to use, but for my purposes, they are fine.

Just replacing a lost pair. They were just what I wanted.

I bought these for traveling as an improvement over just using a nail clippers for needlework when I am on an airplane. I purchased the Singer brand assuming that it would be better made than some mystery brand from China. Unfortunately, the scissors do not fold up neatly the way they are designed to. The folding joints are just not well tooled and it feels sort of cheap in my hands. The little orange Fiskars folding scissors (which I also have) are much better made.

I expected more from the Singer name.These scissors are terrible. They are made with cheap metal and were bent despite being in a sealed package. Trying to fold them back up felt dangerous because of this.Even after all that I still gave them a try because the size was perfect for travel, but when I tried to use them on a trip, I found them to be very dull. Wouldn't cut thru your standard plastic wristband.Returning.

I read the reviews after I bought this. I always read reviews but most always before I buy them. When I read the reviews I was like well if they are that bad I've only lost 2.63. I got them quickly they were an add-on item. So these are not the best scissors but they aren't bad either. I do beadwork and I got them for their size (to fit in my little bead box) and to cut thread and cords. They are just fine for that. No your not going to be able to use them to cut cardboard or plastics or even fabric. If they are reviewed as a 2.63 pair of scissors then they are just fine. They are a little stiff as far as folding them but they do fold and unfold. I took away 1 star for the fact that singer the sewing company should sell a better product. I bought them because they are Singer.

I bought these scissors to keep with my cross stitch. I store them in a Ziploc bag with the thread I'm using that day. Folding scissors are a necessity so my fabric doesn't get torn. I only use these scissors on thread and they work just fine. Other reviewers mentioned that they are hard to open and close. I agree that they are stiffer than other folding scissors I've owned. But for my purposes that isn't a hindrance. These inexpensive scissors serve me well and I recommend them to other needle workers.

I ordered these at the last minute so I would have a pair of travel scissors for a longer vacation, but wish that I had spent more on a nicer pair. They are difficult to both fold and un-fold, and you have to fiddle with them to get them to lock into place properly. They do a decent job of snipping threads and plastic in a pinch, but I would be happier if they were more solid and sturdy. As such, I can't recommend them.

It is made of a very flimsy sheet of metal, The scissor bent on first use to try and cut nails. Could not be bothered to return I was so disappointed in the quality and wasted time and money. In the bin now.

Bought to be a part of a first aid kit. Nice and small, quite sharp. Very happy with these.
