I am a coffee snob. A lot of people claim a given coffee is not bitter and you taste it and it still tastes bitter and burnt. For example starbucks is burnt coffee. Most coffee is either naturally bitter due to additives such as chicory, or burnt tasting due to how they roast it. I have sampled many many coffees from cheap to $100/lb.I have only found 4 brands I consistently reorder and this is one of them. And of those 4 brands none of them have the anywhere near the selection of decaf flavors as Christopher Bean. If you like coffee that tastes like coffee, and not burnt coffee, you can't go wrong here. Of the brands I like, this one has the strongest flavorings, that can be a plus or a minus depending on your preferences.The raspberry and amaretto flavorings are little overpowering, I would use 1/4 raspberry blend with a chocolate coffee so it didn't overwhelm everything else.All other flavors are really good, my top pick is mistletoe mocha and chocolate indulgence but they are all really good.

I was a die hard "death before decaf" coffee drinker and loved flavored coffees, tried all the ones I could get my hands on! Then panic disorder and OCD hit me and hit me hard... now its strictly decaf. Finding good flavored decaf in other than french vanilla or hazelnut in the stores is impossible. These are by far the best flavored decafs! Now its "death unless decaf" 🤣

I am supposed to write a review focusing on one aspect of the product. The packaging. Not your typical coffee bag. Could not figure out how to get it open. As I was about to get the scissors, I noticed a small tab sticking out. Ha ha! I don't the need the scissor, i need the pliers. I am fairy strong, but. Just as I was going to give up and go for the torture implements, it gave. The threat is usually enough. It took a bit of effort to pull the tab and plastic string across the bag, but we got there. All that effort and what do I get an opening just, only just, big enough to get the scoop in. I brew one cup at a time, a large cup. I could not get enough coffee in one go to fill the basket. All that work. It turns out it wasn't worth it the stuff is bad.

Excellent coffee. Some of the best flavored coffee I have ever purchased. Only problem was the bag had a hole in it and I lost quite a bit of coffee. It was not the shipping bag itself but the coffee container. This tells me it was not damaged during shipping but before it left the vendor. This coffee is a little expensive for a 12 ounce bag and I hated to lose any of it. Don't know if I will try it again even though it is very good coffee.

This coffee is really good, and it's difficult to find good flavored decaf. The coffee I received said decaf on the bag, which is exactly what I ordered. The coffee isn't bitter at all and the flavor is excellent without being overpowering. Best coffee I've had in a long time. I purchase coffee on subscribe & save now, but the flavor of this coffee is 100 x better than what I've been buying. I love the taste of this. I've kept this to drink in the late afternoon, but after having this the coffee, the coffee I drink in the morning kinda sucks.

One of the frustrations I've encountered, as someone who likes flavored coffee, is the simple lack of decaffeinated flavored coffee. There's no lack of caffeinated flavored coffees. But as far as "big," reputable companies go, it seems to be either Gevalia or nothing. As this qualified for Amazon Prime shipping, I decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did.The flavor of this coffee is right on-- it's not cloying, flat, or "artificial." The added flavor on both the grounds and the brewed coffee is full and true. In other words, it not only smells good, but the flavor comes through into the brewed coffee itself; this coffee truly does taste like a combination of a chocolate donut and coffee.The only negative I found was that the coffee had a slightly out-of-place, bitter aftertaste, especially noticeable after the coffee starts cooling. Also, as a a matter of preference, I would have liked the coffee to brew stronger and/or come ground a little finer.Would order again.

I had tried Christopher Bean's Decaf Chocolate Indulgence and was not particularly fond of it. Not much of a chocolate taste. But I decided to try the Decaf Chocolate Almond because it is difficult to find a decaf coffee with chocolate notes. I very much enjoy the chocolate almond flavor! I will be purchasing this one again! Delivery was very quick, too.

It won't let me do separate reviews so...Chocolate Donut and Hazelnut-The shipping process was a little messy, the box had coffee dumped out in it and the bag was then covered in it. But the coffee tastes great and I felt like the price was great compared to the K cups I usually buy. Had a cup this morning :)2nd Order Caramel Macchiato-doesn't really have any flavor which is very disappointing since it cost more than the 2 original purchases I made. I will still drink it because coffee is coffee but I won't buy it again.
