Runs great! Just follow the instructions and you're up and running in no time. Just remember IT DOES NOT WORK WITH PS1 GAMES. PERIOD. It's in the description. Also tested with OPL and Popsloader. PS1 games don't work at all. OPL allows you to use GSM to force resolutions and everything looks great so far. If your game runs way too fast, just lower the resolution back to normal on GSM. Very easy to use. For the price point it's great if you're only playing PS2 games.

Works great on my ps2 slim but not with my ps2 phat on 5 TVs. Two 4k, two hdmi led, and one lcd tv. On all 5 TVs it works great on with the ps2 slim. Great picture and sound on one 4k it was a little dark. Other than that it is very nice.

I ran silent hill 3 to test it out and it fixed the stereo audio and makes everything sharper and texts are readable now rather than being blurry from thw av cables so i highly recommend this product

I spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to make the converters work. I tried switching HDMI cables, thinking the cable was the issue, changing power cords, assuming they didn’t work either, and even switching monitors, thinking there might be some kind of incompatibility—nothing worked. Finally, I accessed the settings of the PS2 Slim and found an option called ‘Component Video Out,’ which was set to ‘RGB.’ Apparently, this setting doesn’t work with this converter, resulting in no signal and a black screen. You just need to change that option to ‘Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr,’ and the video and audio will start transmitting.For someone not familiar with these kinds of adjustments (like me), understanding this can be a bit tedious, so keep it in mind when purchasing this item.Other than that, it does improve video quality. It doesn’t transmit extremely high-quality visuals, but the difference is noticeable at a glance. I’d say it does its job well.Regarding the quality of the material or the product itself, I can’t say for sure if it’s durable since I’ve only had it for one day. However, it seems it doesn’t usually last long. Since I haven’t encountered any other issues apart from the configuration mentioned, I won’t comment further. I’ll just say it feels solid in hand.Another detail worth mentioning is the pressure that the power cable for the converter exerts against the console’s power cord. They seem to push against each other, which makes me worry this could damage the console’s components. So, even though it works, I’m seriously considering whether to use it or look for something else that doesn’t pose such a risk to the components.I understand the product itself isn’t bad, but these aspects need improvement. (Not to mention the QR code that’s supposed to give you the product manual only redirects to the brand’s main page, which is of no help at all.)

Pretty simple to use and pretty effective, the image quality improved greatly.

This product is trash, did not work at all. Both the physical instruction manual and the online instruction did not show any way to make it work.

I wish the charging cable was longer, we use a rechargeable battery, because we have to plug it in, in order to use. It makes the PlayStation 2 playable. So I have mixed Rollins about this.

Since purchasing the 'Dreamcast Hdmi' i've only trusted kaico for my retrogaming needs. Thier products are well built, reliable and perfect for those who can't afford 'high end' solutions for hooking up thier old consoles to modern tv's. I've tried other solutions in the past (pound and other less notable adapters) and found myself with half a draw full of useless tech - and i'm sure i'm not the only one.Kaico's a bit diferent though, for the price you're getting a nice piece of tech although if you have a few extra dollars i would suggest you buy thier other PS2 adapter sold right here on Amazon for about $40 -that one is compatiable with PS1 games as well. I opted for this one because i own 2 PS2 consoles and one is modded. If not being able to run PS1 games is not an issue, than you can't go wrong with this adapter - it's well built and performs well above any of the hundreds of cheap solutions sold on this site or any other.
