Great protection for peace of mind.
I used a treadmill, walking one hour a day, for almost 2 years and suddenly it developed thumping at 2 mph and got louder with increasing speed. I filed a claim and instantly got a credit immediately for the value of the treadmill at the time of purchase. Worth the price of the protection. I'm very pleased with the claim filing process and the quick response. Great protection for peace of mind. This is something I would heartily recommend.

These protection plans do false advertisement
These protection plans by Asurion are junk. They do false advertisement when they offer it to you. They make it look as if the plan starts covering the item after the manufacturers warranty expires. I called them to get a status on a claim I filed online months ago. The rep told me that the plan had expired 3 months before I filed the claim. They never got back to me nor sent a confirmation email when I filed the claim online. The protection plan runs parralel to the manufacturers warranty. The 2 year protection plan is actually a 1 year plan because if you file a claim while you're still covered by the Asurion tries to get you to resolve the issue with the manufacturer first.

ASURION is great!
I’m so glad I got a protection plan on my son’s dirt bike that cost for almost 400 dollars after taxes and shipping. His bike all of a sudden stopped working on him and he only had the bike for a little of a year and only rode it a handful of times because he travels a lot for basketball and barely has time. The process on getting a refund through the protection plan was SUPER easy! I know to make sure I purchase protection on everything now

Quick, Easy, and Hassle-Free
I purchased the 2-year Asurion Protection for a walking pad I purchased about 1.5 years ago because so many reviews on the walking pad complained about the equipment crapping out shortly after the one-year manufacturer warranty expires. This seems to be the case with most walking pads from what I’ve seen. I tried reaching out to customer support of the walking pad company to be told that the issue was the motor; however, they do not offer replacement parts. Basically, the walking pad is unusable and nothing can be done. I documented the damages and gathered all the data I figured I would need to file a claim with Asurion. I logged onto the website and provided the requested information: name, e-mail address associated with the order, order number, equipment type, brand, model, cost, and a brief description of the issue. That’s literally it. I hit submit claim and immediately was notified that an Amazon gift card covering the full cost of the order was in my e-mail account. Sure enough, there it was and ready to use. I’m honestly shocked at how easy, fast, and painless the process was. I used the gift card to purchase a new walking pad and without hesitation I bought the Asurion protection plan for that as well. Worth every penny.

Understand you may not actually get what you order.
First off; right out of the box I noticed the labeling on the rower showed it was an R26 series model. According to the page I ordered from on Amazon, it said it was the RS3 series. So I asked “Grok”, what was the difference between the two and basically after researching it, it appears that they are basically the same model. According to what “Grok” dug up for me, the RS3 series is basically just a rename of the R26 and other than basic cosmetic changes and packaging, all of the inner workings and mechanics are identical. This led me to the Amazon page where I asked the same question and “Rufus” responded with basically the same answer only advised that looking at the page I ordered from it is clearly confusing.(Rufus‘s words, not mine.), because I was looking at the RS3 but obviously the R26 was shown and described there as well almost interchangeably. After all was said and done, I decided it wasn’t that big of an issue since they are mechanically the same and work identically from what I could find however, it is something that you might want to know when you are looking at the page, you may not get what you think you’re ordering. Next, as other users have pointed out, the instructions are not extremely clear as one fellow put it, the word “use” is put in place of where you would expect the word “install” or “attach”. His review was extremely helpful because I would not have been looking for that had he not mentioned it. Credit to him whoever he was. Also, I noticed in the instructions that some of the pictures do not correspond necessarily with what the words are telling you. I come from a mechanical background so for me it was easy enough to figure it out and for most people I think they would be able to figure it out as well. However, for those that are not mechanically inclined and struggle with instructions this will cause a bit of a challenge, but is still very doable. The actual assembly is quite easy and pretty straightforward. So far after the original test and a couple of uses, I am quite happy with the function of this rowing machine. It is extremely smooth both in the seat glide, as well as the rowing arms. It is quite easy to use. So far, the resistance levels work as advertised. The only issues I have had was one that was pointed out numerous times in the reviews about the lack of back lighting for the display. Again, not a game changer. The other item that is more of an annoyance than anything is the right foot pad has a “clicking” sound as the heel comes down on the Support bolt. This is due to one of the molds on the bottom of the pad sliding past the support bolt. Other than trying to shave it off or sand It down, there’s not really much you can do about it. I have decided it will probably wear enough under use after time it’s not worth the hassle of modifying it. The left one does not have this issue.. I gave it a four star rating because the concept and the action of this rowing machine is very functional and it gets the job done. I would have given it a five star rating had they’re not been the other issues as described above. Keeping all of this in mind, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a rowing machine for a home gym. I think you will be happy with it.
