COFFEE ORIGIN Bolivia, Kenya, and Guatemala represent only a handful of the farm origins from which we source our beans. It all starts by meeting the farmers on their own land. Mother Earth Coffee observes harvesting and processing to ensure we build relationships with those who hold the same high quality standards. ORGANIC GOODNESS Just like nature intended. With a name like Mother Earth, it has to be organic. Only natural materials are used in the growing and production of coffee bean crops. Our farmers pride themselves in maintaining indigenous flora, using organic fertilizer and helping their environments flourish. Mother Earth Coffee utilizes natural processes in the storage, handling and roasting processes. Artificial ingredients and additives never find their way into our coffees. DIRECT TRADE Direct trade means we purchase coffee crops straight from the farms at or above sustainable pricing. As the specialty coffee market grows, so does the value of the coffee crops we buy. This ultimately impacts the farmers, their families, and the communities they serve. Bypassing the middlemen of typical coffee import systems eliminates unnecessary costs. And that puts more money in the farmer’s pocket. SMALL BATCH ROASTED Mother Earth Coffee is roasted fresh daily in small batches. Our expert Roast Master observes the beans, with sight, smell, and feel, for consistency and evenness of the roast. Each batch roasted is cupped for quality. Every crop is different, so we strive to bring out the best in each bean. Thinking small in roasting means we focus on quality. At Mother Earth Coffee, we are passionate about the coffee we make and share with you. We pour ourselves into every step of production before we ever pour a cup of coffee. And with every sip, there’s down to earth goodness.

Delicious - perfect whole bean coffee!
This coffee is absolutely delicious. I was getting it in Costco until it was no longer available there. I am SO glad I can get it through Amazon now! I make it in a Jura automatic espresso maker and it is perfect. Have gone through a bunch of other brands that are either bland in flavor, or had gross oily beans. No worries as long as I can keep getting Mother Earth Organic Medium Roast!! It is expensive with the shipping costs but as you increase the quantity, the cost per pound comes down and becomes a little more reasonable. Hope it comes back to Costco soon as well!

One of my favorite blends
I got this at a very large bulk retailer for even less than Amazon is selling it for, which makes it (per pound) the cheapest coffee I've ever purchased. However, it's one of the best inexpensive coffees I've found in my two years of specialty coffee addiction. As with most of these cheap blends, there's not much for me to find in terms of specific flavor notes (not that great at it anyway...), but I found the overall composition of the coffee extremely satisfying. There are legitimate high notes here that suggest the coffee WAS fairly carefully roasted; it didn't have the dull, flat characteristics of most other coffee in its price range. The midrange was lively and the bass notes were similarly pleasing, carrying through without bitterness or sourness to a nice chocolately finish. It's a perfect coffee to drink while working or studying. It definitely lacks the complexity and excitement of a serious, third-wave, single-origin coffee, but if you can appreciate it for what it is you'll love it.

It is so much better than any coffee I've tried
I was getting this coffee at Costco too. When I went shopping last week they no longer had it. I was forced to buy a different brand. When i came home I googled Mother earth coffee and couldn't believe Amazon carried it. It is so much better than any coffee I've tried. Thank you Mother Earth!

Delicious
I bought this at Costco after they stopped selling my favorite coffee (which is very upsetting since I cannot find it anywhere now, even on the brand's official site). Anyway this coffee is very smooth and has a nice flavor. I finely grind my coffees in small batches as needed and store it in a large mason jar for the freshest taste. I have a 5 cup coffee maker and 3 tbs does the trick. (After a bit of experimenting I found that this measurement seems to work best with most coffees for this size maker. I'm not sure how to scale it up to a 12 cup yet.) This measurement also makes for a nice medium brew. I don't like my coffee watery or muddy. It doesn't quite top my favorite (The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Medium Roast Colombian) but it is a very close second. I only have a small amount of grounds left in the bag. I definitely plan on making this a repeat purchase and I'm glad to find it's on Amazon!P.S. I find that most coffees taste best with heavy cream and raw sugar. Omg to die for and so worth the fat! Happy brewing!

Just plain awful
We also got this at Costco and I had high expectations for this coffee but sadly, it just didn't work out. I went through about 3/4 of a bag trying different strengths but to no avail. I cleaned out our coffee maker one afternoon to see if it made a difference but no luck.It was so bad that my GF started complaining and she never complains about the coffee. The flavor was terrible and muddy. It just didn't taste good. We've had other coffees from Costco which weren't great but were at least drinkable but this one wasn't. We have a burr grinder and I typically grind the coffee the night before so it's ready in the morning. I tried grinding it fresh just before brewing but still....no go.Maybe we got a bad bag but it was so bad, I hesitate to retry it. To each their own. I see others really like so i would recommend that you at least try it and hopefully your experiences will be better.

Great coffee
Just found this coffee at Costco today. This makes fantastic iced coffee in my Aeropress. Clean and citrusy. Can't wait to try it hot
