Installed on my new 2019 4Runner TRDOR, easy install thanks to Toyota making the factory airbox painless to get into with no tools. Filter is of high quality and seals well. Only about 150 miles with the AFE filter but compared to the original factory paper filter throttle response was immediately and noticeably improved, too soon to say for any mpg improvements but would estimate I’ll see a modest 1-1.5 mpg improvement over the long term. Induction noise is slightly increased, around 2000 rpm and up can hear air whistling past the throttle plate, doesn’t bother me at all but is worth noting. I’m located in Arizona where it’s super dusty, as good as the AFE filter is I’m keeping the stock paper filter under the front passenger seat to swap back in before heading offroad for added dust protection. Overall have had AFE dry flow panel filters on three different vehicles and each of them benefited in throttle response and improved mpg, I recommend them.

Perfect!! Fits my 2016 4Runner with no issues. Throttle seems more responsive than the stock element. My exhaust (aftermarket) seems louder as well. No gas mileage increase or decrease noticed. I've had these filters in the past, so I already knew what to expect. Very easy maintenance and install.

I use aFe Pro Dry air filters in ALL my vehicles. They work really good and are easy to clean. I can't say if it increases HP but in all my vehicles (4) it "smooths" out the way the engine runs; it quiets them a little and they seem to run a little better. This is a direct fit in my 2015 Toyota 4Runner.

Seems to help my 2015 4Runner breath a little easier. No noticeable mpg increase (if any). But the truck does seem to accelerate a little faster, lower in the rev range. Power seems to come on around 2000 RPM, as opposed to 2500 with the OEM filter. It's also nice that I never have to buy a new filter again for the life of the truck.

Good product, they have great marketing.. go with aem.. I have both , protection is good on both but aem “feels better”

Very well made, easy plug and play installation with perfect fitment in air box, improved throttle response and 1-2 mpg gain in mileage. Great product and would definitely recommend.

The filter fits perfectly in the OEM place. Easy install, takes about 20 seconds.

More than I expected. Not a lot of hp, but a lot more pick up.

Installed this in my '14 FJ, which I regularly drive in the desert. Airflow is noticeably improved on and off road, and super easy to clean.

Worth the money any engine

Works as described.. HP am not sure but car breaths better .. I prefer this over oiled ones. Much easier to manage ..
