The HyperX SoloCast is an excellent USB condenser microphone with great sound quality for the price. It’s easy to set up and works perfectly for gaming, streaming, and calls. I ended up upgrading to the DuoCast for myself, but I decided to keep the SoloCast for the kids to use. I wasn't a big fan of the mount method and prefer the DuoCast built in shock mount. It’s reliable, clear, and a fantastic entry-level mic. If you’re looking for a solid microphone that’s simple to use and delivers great audio, this one is a great pick. Definitely worth it!

great quality for the price, and very sturdy. the cord is just a usb to usb-c, so thankfully that's easy to replace if needed. the touch to mute is so much more convenient than i expected, i don't have to switch tabs and mute in my programs when i can just touch the button. plus it helps me guarantee i'm not heard on voice chat games when i don't wanna be (roblox used to bug and unmute me when i'd select mute, so i get paranoid lol). only issue is that, if you just use the stand it comes with, it picks up on every single time you touch your desk. whether you're typing, setting something down, or just put your hand there, you'll hear a bassy thud. the person who recommended this to me did buy a separate stand for it, and that resolved the issue for him!

Great microphone! The quality of my voice to my friends is what I was looking for. It was simply plug and play, and using the mic is honestly super easy. I like how I can mute the mic by simply tapping the top of the mic. The mic is also sturdy and feels premium.

I wanted a mic that was good enough for voice chat and the HyperX has been great. I've received complements on audio quality: "Hey, is that a really expensive microphone?" Voice and build quality are very good. I think this is well past a good-enough threshold. I got in on sale and the price was reasonable. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Fantastic microphone, for this price point i was surprised by the quality of the sound, it is well designed and will fit without feeling out of place, the mute button is also well positioned. Great product, i highly recommend.
