Attractive cup really keeps your coffee or tea warm. (But don't touch the bottom insert.)
I’m very happy with this cup. It does exactly what I wanted when used on my Oracer coffee mug warmer – it keeps the coffee nice and hot. It’s also attractive and easy to hold, and it’s nice that it has a lid. One minor warning: when using it on a coffee warmer, be careful not to touch the metal bottom with your fingers. Of course, you hold the cup by the handle. But there’s a temptation to wrap your other hand around the cup, perhaps to warm your hand. On the earlier all-ceramic cup I used, I often did that, without a problem. But when I absent-mindedly did that with this cup, a finger touched the metal insert in the bottom, and was burned, because the metal is conductive. Touching hot metal will burn you, whereas touching hot ceramic at the same temperature will not. The burn was not serious, but it hurt. Now that I'm aware of this issue, I'll be careful not to touch the metal insert with my fingers. In general, though, this attractive and well-designed cup does exactly what I bought it for.

Perfect Coffee Warmer Cup!
I needed to have a flat bottom cup for my coffee warmer. And decided on this one. I love the wooden handle and top. The cup distributes the heat well. Im very happy with my purchase!

Keeps Coffee Pretty Hot
Like my coffee really hot. My daughter bought me a heated coffee cup set up but the charging adapter went out so I bought this one and paired it with a VOBAGA hot plate. well, the pair work pretty good keeps my coffee pretty hot I only use the hottest setting. The handle is ok and will grow on you

Fantastic mug for my new mug warmer
I drink a ton of hot tea. And my cupboard reflects that based on how many mugs I have. So I don't really need another mug. But when my daughter gifted me a mug warmer this past Christmas, I knew my ceramic mugs wouldn't heat nearly as well as a flat bottomed mug, so I gave myself this flat bottom mug. While the handle is a bit strange (I'd much prefer a normal loop handle), the mug works perfectly with my new warmer, and I couldn't be happier. The wood lid is a wonderful bonus.

Hot cup
I love this cup keeps my coffee hot to last a while. The only problem I have is that this is my second cup. Only cause after last winter of drinking 1 cup of coffee out of it I just couldn’t get the inside clean

Keeps your coffee lukewarm, and if you make some modifications, can even keep it hot
The cup looks fine. The bottom is flat, and It has an aluminum disc on the bottom that should lead to good heat transfer. With great optimism, I filled it with hot coffee, and put it on my coffee warmer, set to max. The coffee cooled off in a hurry. I checked the temperature. The heating pad was 211.6. The coffee was 121.2. Sorry, but that is pathetic performance. So, the cup, as shipped, doesn't work. Can it be fixed? Another review above suggested filling the air ring around the aluminum disc with epoxy to improve heat transfer. I took a slightly different approach. I entirely removed the Aluminum disc from the bottom. It was held on only by a dollop of what appeared to be silicone caulk, so it popped off easily. I cleaned it off, and re-installed the aluminum disc with epoxy, making sure there were no air pockets. Given that there are a couple of comments that mention the wooden handle falling off, I reinforced the handle with the epoxy as well, and it now feels much more solid. So, how did it perform with this modification? Better, but still not good enough. The coffee was now 129, warm, but not hot. Ceramic is used for coffee cups because it is a great radiator, and it keeps you from burning yourself. It would seem that the large ceramic cup is such a good radiator that it keeps the coffee from getting hot even with better heat transfer. So, to limit heat loss, I bought a koozie, and had to stretch it to get it around the cup, but voila! Now the coffee was up to 135, nearly to the 140 that I would like my coffee to be. The good news is that adding the wooden lid to the cup does get those last few degrees. So, with re-glueing the aluminum disk, and adding a koozie, and the lid, I can get the coffee up to 140, and I have a workable solution. This coffee cup was not very well designed. If they understood what it was to be used for, and tested it, they would have realized that it does not keep the coffee warm as shipped. However, with some work, it can be made functional. If you buy this, think of it as a project, not a finished product. I have raised my rating to 3 stars from my original 1 star because, while it doesn't work well out of the box, it can be made to work. One warning, though. With the improved heat transfer, and heat retention, as you get to the very bottom of the cup, the coffee gets quiet warm, so be careful.

This mug works! (If you have a mug warmer)
I LOVE this mug. I got a mug warmer but after I learned these mugs exists I had to try one and I’m not disappointed at all. I work at my home desk for a couple of hours and my coffee or tea would always get cold super fast because I sip on it slowly but this mug (along with a mug warmer) keep my drink hot for hours, I love it!

Makes mug warmers actually work, but way overpriced

Although a bit expensive, this is a wonderful mug and the heat from my mug earmer was enough to heat bone broth from cold to hot in 12 mins. I have a 200w 5 level (gear) warmer. Hate microwaves and never use them especially with organic expensive bone broth. Lovely to hold. Recommend to all even if a bit pricey I’d buy again 😊 I’m a genuine buyer not a fake reviewer. I thank you 😊

I've had this mug for just over a month now. Shipped from the USA to the UK in a few days - No bother at all. It's an excellent mug first and foremost. Aesthetically pleasing on the eye, it also holds a decent amount of tea/coffee. The main reason I got this was for the flat metal base to improve the heat transfer from the mug warmer plate I have, and for that reason, I'm giving this the 5-stars. I've forgot about tea and coffee numerous times while knee deep in work and over 2 hours later lifted the cup and it's roasting. Compared to my regular mug, the heat plate kept it lukewarm at best over a prolonged period. With this bad boy however, the beverage is piping. I'd never thought I'd leave a review for a mug of all things, but here it is. It's been a top purchase.

The only thing that I didn't like was it looked much bigger in the pictures I wish they would make a pint mug most people nowadays use larger mugs when binge watching their favourite shows .the cup is great otherwise it can keep your drink really hot or like warm or anyway you like it works better than using an ordinary cup on your warmer much much better

The flat metal plate in the bottom conducts heat really well and keeps your drink hot, sometimes I have to turn the heat mat down and its even warmed up a luke warm cuppa for me. The mug itself looks really nice. Love the bamboo, which gives it a Japanese feel
