Can’t beat the price and reliability of these. The design is made with inexpensive materials but is very sturdy. The ear cuffs fit super well over ears, even bigger ears, and the headphones are so light that I never experience ear pain or any discomfort even after 4+hours of wearing these. The sound quality is great and I’ve mixed and mastered on these quite a bit.

These sound great, are very comfortable, and seem to weigh nothing. Overall they are great.

I was looking for a set of headphones to use when my electronic music gigs start back up. I also didn't want to be taking my more expensive studio headphones out into that environment. These AKG K72's fill the bill quite nicely. These are light weight and very comfortable to wear for long sessions. They have acceptable sound isolation. The bass is quite good - There's a bit of a bump around 100 Hz, but it is not unreasonable. The midrange is decent, but it does not have 3D audiophile-levels of clarity like $500 studio headphones. However, the midrange response is more than acceptable for tracking. The high frequency response is good, with a smooth roll off starting about 16 kHz. My only criticism would be the vulnerability of the connecting cable to the headset. So overall, the AKG K72's are a good value for those looking for performance tracking headphones.

I'm not an audiophile, but I can tell the difference between decent headphones and garbage ones. I'm a longtime Grado headphone user. Pros: Good price when on sale Long cord Sound good when used with a headphone amp Headband is snug but not tight, won't squeeze your head Very comfortable over the ear pads Cons: MSRP is way too high for what you get -- don't pay full price for these Cheap and plastic-y construction, questionable durability Stereo jack is not gold plated so you will get some crackle and may have to reinsert or rotate the jack a few times to get a clean sound from it. Really needs a headphone amp to sound its best. Initially, I was very unimpressed with these headphones. They sounded flat and muffled. This was using the headphone jack on my phone and computer speakers. Then I tried them on a USB DAC with a strong headphone amp built in and the sound really opened up. Suddenly they had good tight bass and decently clear highs. Definitely recommend using with a headphone amp!

These are super comfortable. They fit around my ears perfectly without pressing on anything despite the fact I wear glasses and have a helix piercing; and the sound quality is pretty decent for the price. If I hadn't had a pair of Avantree and Meze headphones to compare them to I probably would have kept them ...but. In comparison they are rather tinny and have severe sound leakage. I didn't buy them for noise canceling but if that's what you're looking for definitely don't get these, there's literally no difference between having them on or not. The only way I could drown out the cartoons in the background was by playing music and turning up the volume. But like I said these are still good for the price of $45. Avantree Audition were the same price and have the choice of wired or Bluetooth with a better sound though the ear cushions are narrower and don't have a self adjusting head band. The other headphone I bought was the Meze 99 Neo which sounds pretty similar to the Avantree, though slightly better but with the price tag of $199.

As a caveat, I've never owned any top tier headphones. That being said, this is by far the nicest pair of headphones that I've owned and I've had many that I've paid quite a bit more for. I have used these consistently over the last year, and I'm constantly impressed with the sound quality, build quality, and comfort. If you're interested in a pair of wired headphones, I highly recommend these.

Honestly most headphones in stores for this price are kinda bad. But trying these is honestly mind blowing. I'm suprised they figured out how to make good sound quality for that low of a price tag. I love using these headphones when mixing! The only real downside is that there isn't enough sound isolation, but my room is quiet anyway so that really doesn't matter for me. Overall these work great! Also if your reading this review I highly recommend using soundid if you want to make your studio headphones have a flat sound curve, which delivers the flat studio sound that provides extremely accurate audio,

I bought these in October 2019 and have to say they're my favorite pair of casual headphones I've ever owned. I work at a radio station and since the start of the pandemic, I've be preferring to use my own headphones rather than disinfecting the ones at the station, and these do the job just fine. I wouldn't recommend these for music production for professionals, but if you're a hobbyist music maker, go for it! Not very nose cancelling, at least not compared to other models, but they're fantastic for day-to-day use. The cord is super long, which is great in the studio, but when I'm running to the grocery store, I actually make a few loops in the cord and tie them off with a twist tie. This may be a bit annoying to people who use their headphones for daily use, but I don't mind at all. They are also very comfortable for long-term wear... the fact that they go entirely over my ears means that there is no uncomfortable pressure on my piercings, which has been a problem in the past for me. The fit is great - not too tight, not too loose. I recommend these 100%.

I've been a long-time AKG fan, I've owned all sorts of headphones throughout the years but the K77's I bought about 10 years ago have exceeded my expectations for the price point that I've looked no further since. Unfortunately, one of the drivers stopped working eventually (or could be the cable, which can't be replaced). Immediately, I went to look for a newer AKG offer and the K120 seemed to be the best choice. Unfortunately, those cans sounded flat and blocked none of the ambient sound. Fortunately, these K72s were the other "Amazon's choice" and I absolutely love them. Supremely lightweight and comfortable, for a guy with large ears I can wear them on extended basis with no issues at all, very large cup. And the stretchable band has been improved significantly. Long cable for comfortable movement. The sound profile on these is fantastic. It is not the flat reference sound of the K120, these have a punch on both the bass and highs and respond excellently to EQ adjustments. They can be used for enjoying music just as much as producing it. Also the low resistance means I can turn the volume down to 25-30% on my PC and it would get as loud as standard reference cans at 80%. Build quality looks solid, despite it being all plastic. They're very flexible (and of course as mentioned comfortable). If you didn't know, one might assume they're worth $500 based on the sleek design. Absolutely love these, you can't go wrong, and here's to another 10 years.

最近気に入っているアシダ音響のST-90-05の唯一の欠点（個人的に）である、耳が痛くなる点をカバーするために本製品を買ってみた。耳がほぼ覆われるため、初期の目的は達成されたと言えるが、総合的には凡庸であると思った。ST-90-05は音色の再現力が抜群なのに比べ、本製品の音はおとなしく遠くで鳴っている印象。ポリプロピレンと思われる筐体は安っぽく、手で触れた場合の擦過音が大きすぎるのがまずダメ。 しかし、ST-90-05の音圧感度が104dB/mW、本製品の感度が97dB/mWなので、ボリウムを上げて聴いてみるとなかなかいい。価格を考えれば凡庸なヘッドホンとは言えない。
