Great product. Fast delivery!
I have been looking for something like this for years! I have an 8 pound chihuahua mix who doesn’t care for other people, but we like to take our dogs to festivals and things like the farmers market. She does fine as long as someone doesn’t reach down to pet we unannounced. She just has a large personal bubble and only really likes myself and my family. I only ordered the MINIATURE FOR LESS THAN 20 POUNDS and it fits great! She is fairly robust around the chest area so it is usually difficult for things to fit her but it has a nice loose comfortable fit and she doesn’t mind it. Plus I like how it says “I need space” because I don’t want people to think she is mean. She is just nervous and has had special needs (emotionally) since I got her. As far as delivery goes, it said it would come in between June 1-June 7 and it was delivered on June 1! Super fast delivery! Great quality! Overall I cannot wait to continue to use it and I hope it will help to keep her anxiety at bay and people will understand.

Love it for my GSD out in public, especially for COVID
There will always be people who pet without asking first...This is a great alternative option to the vest we normally use. Love that it’s so simple & bright to capture people’s attention to make them READ the text. It does get dirty pretty quickly, so not recommended for full time wear.I love taking our German Shepherd with us out in public, but he’s not great with strangers and/or people he doesn’t know approaching us - he will bark at whoever reaches to pet him without me introducing them to him first & that can be rather scary for them with him being 115lbs + annoying for me. He’s 2 years old now and ‘still’ learning his manners which COVID hasn’t helped considering he doesn’t understand masks and doesn’t recognize people he knows right off the bat.Side note, I joke that bringing him with me wearing this, employs social distancing a bit better! 😅I also enjoy taking him to the dog park, so it’s nice to have people not approach him to pet when he’s minding his own business running around and out of arms reach to correct him.We have a thick “military style” vest we have him wear usually that has “Do Not Pet” patches on either side, but the downfalls of this are 1) first impressions of him are usually that he is aggressive, dangerous, or a working dog 2) people don’t read the patches as easily for some reason and 3) I personally think it’s too hot for him to wear in the summer heat.Great alternative.

This bandana was helpful! Liked it more than expected!
My dog's go-to signal that she wants you to back up is a warning snap that unfortunately has connected a few times. I realize this is a bite, I'm not denying or excusing that. I'm just saying she's just not lunging, not clasping and has no prey drive... she just gets annoyed and when she's had enough of someone in her face, she snaps her teeth at them. Unfortunately, her snap has put a dog in stitches when she caught his face and drew blood on a few kids' hands. We have a behavioral therapist vet coming this week. My dog is a 60 pound old english sheepdog, nearly 2 years old, with big teeth. This behavior is not ok.The problem is we live in a city and as a sheepdog she looks super floofy and people just come up and pet her. So we got this bandana.I have to say I was nervous to put it on her at first thinking people would think I'm bringing a vicious dog out but truly she's fine if kids don't pet her. She never nips at adults. I don't let kids pets her. But a few kids haven't asked. When I put on the bright yellow bandana, the experience was great! We still got to enjoy little oohs and ahhs of how cute she is (who doesn't like to hear that about their dog) but nobody came up in her space and impulsively rubbed her. I'm happy with this.

Good for shy dogs
I haven’t used this yet. I bought it for my shy greyhound. When we go out everyone seems to think they are different when we tell them she doesn’t like to be petted. She was a brood mama so she wasn’t socialized like most greyhounds. She enjoys people but doesn’t want to be touched by strangers. The bandana is bright and the lettering is nice. It feels kinda thin so I’m hoping it holds up. She will only wear it when we go places where people might approach her.

An excellent awareness aid for dog owners to keep their dogs and other people safe.
An essential item for dogs who don’t want to be, or shouldn’t be, approached and touched. Could be for behavioral and/or medical reasons. Either way, it politely lets others know to back off, because they don’t always listen when you ask them to keep their distance, especially if they have another dog pulling on the leash (even worse when it’s a retractable at full-length and the handler has almost no control). The phrase “my dog is friendly” is one I’ve come to despise over the years. Our current dog, Odie, does not like other dogs, but we’ve had others that do. And they’ve been subjected to poor behavior by “friendly” dogs that have come running up to us, both on leashes walks and running loose onto our property. So please, as a matter of responsible dog ownership and general courtesy, ask before approaching an unfamiliar dog. It’s already been helpful for our dog walker. The Yellow Dog Project has more helpful information.I’ve bought three bandanas so far, one to keep at home and others to keep in the cars. The first one already has a small hole in it, I’m not sure what it got snagged on, but still useable. Haven’t washed any of them yet, but only plan to do cold wash and hang dry.

Needs to be padded
Scrunches up and can’t be read. If thicker, or would hold shape enough to read when it says.

So much better!!
I understand my pup is adorable with her corgi ears and such BUT!! she is so timid! And some people don't understand that if a dog is cowering In the corner of the cart she's not ok!! By the time I had turned around she had already peed herself poor girl. This has allowed a second guess before touching or approaching her. I feel much better about bringing her out with me so she can socialize but still have her space to feel safe.
