Great addition to the spice cabinet

Unbelievably delicious.
I recently discovered this spice blend and now I'm using up the rest of my second jar. It's very flavorful and aromatic, pairs perfect with pork, lamb or chicken. My family loves this little treat. This specific brand seems to have done their research, the flavor profile is unique and well worth the small cost.

Excellent Flavor
I had just butchered a Lamb, and instead of stew meat, I was given ground meat. Most of the recipies with ground lamb required this spice. I used it in the Lamb Meatballs and Feta Cheese, and it was delicious! I made Tzatziki Sauce for the Lamb Meatballs, and added this spice to the Sauce as well, and it really added a nice kick to the Sauce. I will be purchasing more, however, I want to try it a bit more spicy...

Excellent flavor
Tried this since it will keep better than paste harissa. Not as strong a flavor, do I use nearly twice the recommended amount as paste. The rose moderates the spiciness in a very pleasing way.

You can smell the rose
I haven't used it yet, but I'm excited to try on roasted eggplant or potatoes, eggs too. Very beautiful packaging, if I love the spice I'll probably put it in gift bags for chefs I know.

Disappointed :(
Frankly, I was disappointed this is a pleasant enough chili sprinkle, but I found the rose to be totally absent. Your mileage may vary, but if you’re looking for a little hit of Rose aroma honestly I can’t detect it. I’ve used it five or six times now and even tried sticking my nose in the jar to see if that rose was lurking somewhere but really, it just isn’t. I’m gonna use it up because it’s a nice chili powder to put on food, there’s a bit of a hit of hot, but I would never buy this again.
