Perfect for Home Practice.
I recently purchased the 9 ft Folding Foam Balance Beam, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. My daughter is a beginner gymnast, I wanted to get her something to practice at home without taking up too much space or being too intimidating, and this beam fits the bill perfectly.Pros:Sturdy and Safe: The foam padding provides a great balance between firmness and cushioning, so she feels secure practicing her skills without worrying about injury.Foldable Design: I love that it’s easy to fold up and store when she’s not using it. The folding feature is super convenient for small spaces!Non-Slip Surface: The surface is textured enough to give good grip, which helps with confidence during practice.Versatile: It’s great for beginners, but even intermediate gymnasts could use it for training balance and basic skills.Cons:Not for Advanced Use: While it’s perfect for home practice and beginners, more advanced gymnasts might find it too soft or not stable enough for high-level training.Overall, I highly recommend this beam for anyone looking to practice balance or start gymnastics at home. It’s well-priced, functional, and has been a game changer for my daughters training!

Great quality
This is great for ages 2-7. My niece and nephew are doing gymnastics and we got this as a gift for them. They were so happy opening their new balance beam gift. My kids also enjoy balancing on this beam and it has been an activity for the kids to play by themselves or as a group. This is a great way to develop gross motor skills in children.

Perfect for practice
Perfect for practice. Lightweight, my daughter can move it around and get in reps.

Great for beginners
Light weight, folds well but sturdiness even for my 30lb daughter is less than expected. It doesnt tend to hold up as well as expected. That said she loves using and and does so quite often. Has started working on many of the moves at home she is learning at gymnastics.

Amazing
My daughter just started gymnastics and I thought it would be great for her to be able to practice at home. This beam is phenomenal. I love that it is so light and easily removable. It is so sturdy.

Not very firm but I like it that way because...
As other people mentioned, this is not a firm beam. It is actually less firm than my 2 inch 4 x 10 We Sell Mats Practice mat. However the fact that it is so squishy makes it great for stability training. Now mind you I am almost 200 pounds and got it to practice some gymnastics tricks I could do when I was younger. I will probably buy a firmer beam in the future and I’m sure turns would not go well for me on this beam (or maybe anyone). But I walked back and forth on it today for an hour (while on a phone call), just to practice balancing and 12 hours later my whole body is sore. (And despite my weight, I do exercise a lot and walk every day sometimes with weights on), so I’m pleasantly surprised by this and I decided to keep it. When I move to a hard beam I’m sure it will seem so much easier after this. I would recommend it if you are looking to improve your balance on a standard beam or even just in general.

Holds up firmness
My little and all the little’s that come over love this balance beam. It folds up pretty easy making it easy to store. The firmness is nice and is the same size as an actual balance beam at the gym. The price on this is amazing for such a good product. This doesn’t not slip and slide on the hardwood floor at all, it stays in place nicely.

Not sturdy. You can hurt yourself on this, & it seems only suitable for toddlers
I have wanted a balance beam my entire life. This is the first time I've ever purchased one for myself, and I'm pretty disappointed in this one. This isn't very sturdy, especially on carpet.Anytime I stand on it, it pushes it up in all other areas and forces you to lose your balance. After buying a ton of other workout equipment I didn't have the money to buy a more expensive balance beam, which I would have much rather preferred! So I need to do some work on this, either by adding a Velcro strip to the entire bottom and buying a wood plank to velcro it to in order to make this work for me and stay still. Or I just need to return it and just spend the extra money on a decent one. It's not very comfortable to stand on either. My feet kind of slide off of the sides. It's definitely wider at the bottom base than it is at the top, so your feet don't have much room to walk on it. I have hurt my foot by having them slide off on this already and I've only had it for a week.I think the design was made pretty poorly. I believe that if it was stuffed a little more so that it was nice and full and thick, and then it would work a little better. Also the part where it folds in half to make it shorter? When you open that, there should be some sort of Velcro that sticks the 2 sides together in the middle so that it cannot pop-up all over when you're standing on it. I went with something cheap instead of something well made, and I think I made a mistake on that one. If you're an adult, I would definitely go with something that costs just a little bit more. Or at least plan on having to improvise on how to make it work better for your body by making some improvements on it.
