Great product
Upgraded my broadband to 5ghz so had to replace my smarplugs. Had to download the app to get it to work but it was easy from there. Can't get it to sync with Alexa but think that's just my technical skills. I use the app so it's not a problem. I use it to put my lamps on when I'm at work. It says 2.4ghz on the box but it's definitely compatible with my broadband whereas my other smartplugs stopped working when I changed to 5ghz. I will be buying more of these.

It’s taken me ages to find a plug that works in my house. I think it’s because we have 5ghz?! I just couldn’t find one to connect to my wifi but this finally worked….. easily set up although the instructions that come with it aren’t great. I couldn’t get mine to connect to my Alexa so downloaded their app instead.

Great buy
I've been looking for ages for a smart plug which works with Alexa without the need for another app and which is cheaper than the Amazon smart plug. A bit worried by some of the negative reviews, but took a chance on a 2 pack of these from Amazon warehouse and am very impressed. Took me about 5 minutes to set up each plug and connect to Alexa. Plugs are a bit bulky and I don't really need the nightlight, but it's bright enough to be of some use in a landing at night. Now after a deal on their smart bulbs...Update: just changed my router, so had to set the plugs up again. Equally easy as the first time.

Excellent Switches
I bought these to replace the COOSA (eFamilyCloud) switches which kept failing and they have been fine so far. The features are good including the night light.

Good smart plug
Good quality product but not easy at all to get it to work. Installation instructions are confusing. It works well with Alexa and Google home.

Poor wifi sensitivity and restrictive app
Both plugs struggled to operate reliably unless fairly close to my router, when other wifi plugs have had no problem. The Broadlink App lacks a basic delay function, which means switching on the plug and then starting an appliance with a short delay is not supported.
