Works great. I use it everyday for work on my hard hat. Battery lasts pretty long. A lot of my co workers ask me where to get it

Long battery life, a couple of different light settings. You can easily change the size to ensure a good fit. Reliable brand and great Value when compared to similar quality. This is my pocket tool flash light that I use every day at work, having the two buttons makes it easier for the quick use situations, or limited battery. Rather than running through all of the brightness settings before shutting off.

Light is very useful and and built like I would expect Klein tools products to be. There are a few exceptions and hence why I didn't give it 5-5. Battery life is not great. I had a job where I needed light for a lot of a 12 hour shift and this lasted maybe an hour. The magnet is very weak. When I placed it on the electrical cabinet, it was fine as long as no one accidentally bumped it even a little. The clip is very nice and now I want to get the helmet that this clips to without using the band that it comes with. Overall the lamp is very compact is useful with the ability to adjust the light and use different light modes. I would recommend it even with knowing the battery life isn't the greatest and neither is the magnet.

Snaps right into the Klein hardhat no problem. No real weight difference that I can tell on my hardhat. Light sequencing is a little odd at first going from Med, Dim and Bright light settings in that order. Battery life is a little to be desired but charging daily after shift is a non issue and gets me thru a 10-12 hour shift no problems with fairly regular use, it doesn’t survive 2 full shifts. The positions that the light rotates is nice but I did break it after a piece of equipment hit it. Light still works no problem just won’t move now, not going to take a star off of the review and I see that as a me issue and not a product issue. Would recommend for any Klein wearing hardhats.

This headlamp is freaking sweet to have on your hard hat.

I got this Klein Tools Headlamp and have been extremely satisfied with its performance. This headlamp is perfect for a variety of applications, including outdoor activities, home repairs, and vehicle work. This is a brilliant headtorch. I am so impressed with it. For me what sets it out beyond others is its design and how a battery indicator is incorporated into it so well. This torch is aimed at electricians but it can really be utilised by anyone. I can see how it would appeal to electricians though, the second mode of 100 lumen flood allows for a good amount of brightness that doesn't cause too much glare or any colour distortion. So when working in small enclosed spaces or up close to a box of wires it isn't too bright. The two other modes of 200 and 400 lumens are brilliant. It is a very capable headlamp and can illuminate large areas. Unless you need a searchlight this headtorch should do you for most activities. The build quality is high grade. Great materials have been used. It is a professional bit of kit and the price tag at £59.94 (December 2020) is a fair price, albeit expensive. The unit is clearly very water resistant. I have worn it in very bad weather and it has been brilliant. The strap is strong and durable and offers a good secure fit that is easily adjustable. The inside of the strap is lined with a kind of rubberised grippy layer which prevents movement. The lamp can be adjusted to five different angles in addition to its normal position. It makes it very user friendly and really helps completing tasks. It stays in place even whilst the user is moving for all but the most vigorous of movements. Battery life is decent. It is as stated in the product description. 4 hours on its highest setting constantly for such a small and lightweight unit is impressive. The unit doesn't get too hot even whilst used continuously. I love the battery indicator. The amount of times in the past I have gone out and regretted not charging my torch or swapping the batteries. The indicator prevents me from being caught out. And it is accurate too. I haven't found I require the auto sensing off feature. It might be useful to some but not for me. I only really works in daylight or bright artificial light. And it takes three minutes. A feature I would have preferred would have been a button lock, to prevent it from accidental turning on in my bag or pocket. However, it is quite a good button which has to be clicked on, so accidental "on's" should be few and far between. Overall I am chuffed with the headtorch. High quality, professional looking and lives up to the expectations and requirements.
