Awesome clam base for all of your chowder needs!
Great clam base! Easily makes an award winning chowder recipe shine. Smells and tastes like clams. Long shelf life makes it a great value. Packaged and sealed very well, arrived in perfect condition.

Clam flavoring
We have used this Clam base several times and it is wonderful. I recently added a tablespoon to my Clam Dip and it really enhanced the flavor. When we make potato soup in a large pot we add a couple of quarts of clam juice instead of water. To make the final tweak on flavor, we use this clam base a little at a time to adjust it to perfection. Great product

Good value
I bought 12 51oz cans of clams from a friend . This is a less expensive than buying bottled clam juice for my Clam Chowder. Pennies on the dollar actually. The taste is good and it has pretty clean ingredients. I would recommend this product.

I read about this product as being the perfect clam base for chowder. Hardly any clam flavor and a TON of salt. Do not recommend.
