Simple to follow
Easy to learn for a beginner

Good for beginners -- mostly.
I enjoyed this book -- nice simple presentation and good info. Makes basic yoga seem doable! I gave it four, rather than five, stars because of descriptions like "Lift the inside of your ankles..." Um, what? To be fair, these kinds of phrases are in lots of yoga books AND yoga videos. Honestly, though, without a one-on-one instructor, instructions like that are useless and confusing to a beginner. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing or feeling, and it makes me afraid I'm doing it wrong.

Great book/poses pictured
Exactly the book for beginners and for the more experienced wanting to get back into yoga. Pictures clearly show the poses and written descriptions with them are precise, helpful for your practice. Glad to have this!

This is a great introductory book on how to start your own yoga journey
I really liked this book. I've read several yoga books in the past and this one would rank in the top five. It gives a very good overview, identifies several types of yoga (some I haven't heard of), and proceeds to give a very gentle introductory movement set that any beginner should be able to work through without killing themselves or feeling inadequate. This is definitely one that I would recommend adding to your bookshelf. The fact that it's a digital version with clear photos means it's easy to take with you on trips as well, maybe to wind down after a tough business trip. Highly recommended.

as it rev recommends it is better to take a beginners class than to attempt to ...
Although I live the concept of this book, as it rev recommends it is better to take a beginners class than to attempt to learn yoga with no examples. There is no feedback or examples to guide movements.

I missed it from this book, but of course this is just a personal opinion. All in all well done Olivia.
