Super light and comfortable
This is the best mouse I’ve used, and for the price I paid I couldn’t be happier. It’s extremely light and slides smoothly across my mousepad. The button presses are all nice and quick, scroll wheel is fine and the subtle RGB is cool to look at, it’s not over the top. The sides of the mouse have this textured hexagonal pattern on that gives grip. The Roccat Swarm software gives you lots of customisation options, such as the DPI control, speed of scrolling and clicking, button control and the RGB options too. Overall I’m chuffed with this purchase and will be looking into the keyboards as I’m very happy with the mouse performance for the price.

Great quality light weight mouse, perhaps the new king if the switches can be improved.
Waited a month and a delay delivery from amazon, received a mushy right click copy, the gap between the right button and body is bigger than the left, the right click rebounce is not as responsive as the left. The coating feels nice, shape is better and safer than XM1 to suit me, scroll wheel is comfortable, one tip here: push it right for smoother scroll, push it left for tactile scroll. Overall an upgrade of XM1 expect the cable and mushier clicks, but I am sure you won't notice much difference on the cable, it's still softer than the Viper's. Update: After received replacement from amazon, the new copy is just fine, and it has same batch number as the first one, so I assume I just had bad luck at first time, both switches are fine, they are optical so I didn't expect it as crispy as regular switches, but still better than razer's. After adjusting the screws, I managed to make it feels similar to XM1. The overall build quality of the mouse is better than XM1. Therefore I changed my rating to 5 stars, and recommend this mouse to every claw grip FPS gaming players, or palm grip for small hands less than 17 or 18. Roccat has done a good job on this mouse, and I wish they will release more good quality products at a reasonable price like this mouse.

Premium Product - Budget Price
If you're serious about gaming, and you don't want to spend too much invest your money in this mouse! Seriously don't buy a cheap mouse to save up, it will just end up breaking. This mouse is amazing for the price, it is very reliable with a very fast input response. The clicks are not too loud, and are satisfying to click, the DPI range is more than enough. The RGB settings are simple and the software works properly.

Much more reliable than a battery powered mouse
I don't usually do reviews, but I wanted other potential buyers to know that this is a fairly good piece of kit. I don't like the use of superlatives, but I have encountered no problems, it is reliable, smooth, and the button for changing DPI works well; I've had a few like it before, and wasn't impressed, but this one is OK. The wheel appears to be well made, it is certainly the best mouse wheel that I have used to date, that's over more than 25 years. Obviously, the USB cable is a downside (I chose it deliberately), because it can snag with office furniture. The button to change DPI is only a pain if I don't think about what I am doing, and reach inaccurately for the mouse and hit it, on the way to the right mouse button. However, reverting to my setting is a swift four clicks away, and it is, solid feeling and reliable switch/button. The build as a whole appears to be durable, and this mouse only needs to be handled with the sort of respect that is advisable with all electronic kit. Oh yes: delivery quick and reliable. Photo included with the PoD. Tada!

Roccat Burst Pro
Great mouse and the software for customising the colours and functionality of the mouse is easy to use.

very good shape but quality worse than other Roccat mice
So I just received the second one of this mouse. I had to return the first due to right click was really bad and different from the left one... This one feels fine, at least the left and right clicks are very similar responsive feeling but I still don't like these mechanical switches. The good: The shape is very good, I would say it is a combination of the Roccat Kova and the E.G. XM1 . Somewhere between. Shorter than both but the hump feels higher than the XM1 so I don't feel smaller. It is not that wide like the XM1, same wide as the Kova but it feels smaller than that. And the sides are mostly flat minimal curviture, I would say perfect :) . Feels really nice in hand, I would say it is a medium size mouse but probably good for most hand sizes. If you use palm grip this is maybe not for you just if you have smaller hand at least under 19cm. For claw or fingertip, perfect. There is no rubber coating but the plastic material is very nice and fairly grippy, maybe I will use some side grips for the better feel but if you don't have too sweaty hand it will be fine. Side buttons are great as always, good position, very responsive, very good size and feel. Wheel size is good, the feel alsooo almost, but I would carry on with The bad: The QC used to good at Roccat if I remember correctly, but probably not anymore. The wheel is quite loud, the feel would be quite good as it has good tactile feedback but also not too stiff, but it is loose a bit and when you use it resonate the whole mouse so I will try to fix this myself but they shouldn't design like this as the other Roccat models has the best mouse wheels in my opinion... The wheel click is quite ok, still a bit stiffer what I like but not too bad at all. The main clicks, huh, I don't like this optical switch marketing, I hope they will forget it soon as companies did with the bad stiff braided cable trend, that was also a nightmare. They are quire responsive (at least on my second copy) but I don't think anyone could feel the difference in response time compared to the good mechanical switches like japan omrons what my favourites. The feel of these very hollow, "plasticky", quite artificial. Also they are quite loud. Not the worst but all Roccat mice what I have/tried has much better feeling clicks and sound. At least they are similar light as good mechanical switches so no complain about this. LOD is quite normal, track with 1 dvd and doesn't with 2. Sensor all right, no complain, especially in this price point. Feets are not the same ones as on the Pro version but still slides very well and quietly, they are good for sure. And the cable, probably this is the worst thing in this mouse. And I am quite disappointed about it because I have a Kain 100 and Kone Pure SE, they have also rubber cable, but thin, light and very flexible one. I don't know why but they replaced the nice light and flexible rubber cable with a thick, heavy and stiff one. Why??? I don't get it, but I have to paracord it for sure. It was a really bad surprise... So at this price point this could be a good mouse, but they made so many mistakes what they haven't done before, so I keep it because the shape and will mod it to make a decent mouse from it. But, I didn't used to this from Roccat and I really hope it won't happen in the future. I know if I would have buy the Pro version what cost twice as this one I would have get a better experience, but only with the cable for me, and if they could build the previous budget models with decent light rubber cable, I don't understand why they changed the good to something unacceptable... Anyway, the cable replacement only cost me £4, so this mouse will be still much cheaper than the Pro...
