sounds good
it is good. with a lot of care in putting it together and sanding and finishing it looks good. You MUST replace the strings to make it sound good. I also replaced the tuner pegs.

Quality wood
This is not a diy for those inexperienced. It’s not a kids project. The peg that should connect neck to body was missing. The design around the sound hole is laser etched which gives a good look

the only big issue was the instructions were lousy so I used the web and previous experience to build it and it came out great - strings were ok but I bought a new set that was much better .

Waste of time and money
Product came missing parts and the neck was not the right size for the body. Also the neck did not have the wood wood rods to connect to the body. I should have looked at the reviews before ordering, looks like I’m not the only person with this problem.

Over priced for what you get...
Well, it is branded Zimo, but it doesn’t have the pegs for the neck...or holes in the body for that matter...so not as described, not the same one in the picture. I only received three of the four nuts to hold the tuning keys on...unfortunately this is normal...luckily I have built a few ukuleles and guitars and have an extra nut for the tuning key because one I ordered in the past came with half the hardware and when I complained, they sent me a almost complete bag of hardware...of course it to was missing some stuff. I thought for 40$ I would get a higher quality kit. And there is a chunk out of the body but I think it will sand out...sorry about the bad review...but I’ve built 20$ kits that were higher quality. (This is a continuation)...I should have known from all the pencil lines on the fret board, but I assumed that it was correct scale. So once you tune it to gCEA, all the notes are off at a 13 inch standard soprano scale rendering it unplayable...this isn’t my first rodeo, but last time to buy from these guys.
