Wireless upgrade to the legend. Only Downsides: 1. No Type C, and 2. bit pricey. But still worth it!
I've had, over the years, the Razer Krait, Abyssus, Spectre. Even had the Logi G700s, but that's quite huge for my medium/small hand form factor. My hand-size: 7 inches from tip of the middle finger to the wrist. My original $70 Original G502 Proteus Core, 4+ years. Still going strong as ever. No clicking issues - maybe some very faintly occasional double click on the left one, but nothing that brings it down. If I were given the choice of one wired mouse - I would not look beyond a G502 variant. Now this: The much awaited Wireless upgrade to the legend. Everything in size and function is about the same. The clicks this time feel just a tad bit better, snappier. The scroll wheel is nice upgrade, with a lighter alloy rim like make. The wireless feature completely translates the same no-compromise experience in every way. I don't think this mouse is going away any time soon. The only two downsides are that the cable connector at the mouse end is still micro-USB. Would have loved a Type-C port in this day and age but that would be a little nit-picky still as no Type-C is fine for a mouse but not at all for a phone so.Why did I buy this? Even with a cable, a 502 is no problem - at all. It's just that my G502 Proteus is just showing some signs of wear under the thumb placement area - much of the rubber seems to have eroded, and so I was wanting to have a backup G502. That's probably why I would maybe recommend a vinyl skin to be put on this area so that the rubber doesn't wear off.So while I was planning to get a G502 Hero as a standby (dont care about higher DPIs or anything else), I just figured maybe getting a 'wireless' version may just be more future proof. No mouse would give me the feature-set and the form factor, as well the Windows Application stability and flexibility as a Logitech, of which I am certain (I do have a Razer Blackwidow and used many of their mice, but the software would have strange issues, and even the Corsair iCUE doesn't seem quite as stable as Logitech's software). Thus my options, say, were a bit limited. But regardless, I don't see any other mouse packing as much punch in features and still be RGB enough, and so the G502 Lightspeed, no other mouse quite stood the chance of my consideration. The G502 is a legendary series of mice. They've been tried and tested - by so many others as well as myself. It's hard to shake that off. For me, it works like a glove. And I wasn't ready to take any other shot in the dark, really.Sure, it did cost a finger if not an arm, and it took me DAYS to come to a decision. But now that I have it, I know that the extra money it cost me makes it worth it. Maybe at AED300 it would be the deal of the decade for a wireless mouse, but I think this is the lowest I've seen this killer mouse priced at, and well, there it is.My search for the best wireless mouse in the world (in my mind), ends here. No wonder this IS the best gaming mouse of 2020.

Yes its heavy, but its a classic!
I've been using the G502 for 5 years. I still have it and now use it in my office. I decided to purchase this wireless model to free myself of tangled tyranny and its still the same G502 I've come to love and enjoy. Sure, other mice are lighter. But some of us still enjoy the heft and feel of a quality mouse. I do use a Glorious Model O for fast paced games. But for non-FPS and regular usage, i find myself gravitating back to this every single time. It simply feels great in the hand and you almost forget about the weight - especially if you replace the mouse feet with PTFE aftermarket alternatives and have a mousepad with a smooth hybrid glide such as an Artisan FX

One of the best wireless mice I've ever used.
This is a product review just a few days after receiving the G502 Lightspeed. My first impressions were amazing. I always tried to stay away from wireless because I believed there was higher latency but when I saw the price of the Lightspeed was so much cheaper for whatever reason, I decided to try it out. You can't notice any latency, it's as good as a wired mouse. I saw other reviews of people saying they got a used mouse, and I got concerned since the price was pretty low too, but when I unboxed it, it was brand new. There were no fingerprints on the mouse, the box was sealed and everything was perfect. Anyways I'll be dropping another review within 6 months. But for now, this is the best mouse I've ever used.

works as expected
the grip on the mouse is good.. works like a charm. the buttons are very useful. I don't gully utilize all of them yet but dpi-adjustment buttons works well when going from a certain task to another. the left and right scroll buttons works very well too for wide websites. you can customize the buttons so I think of using it in the near future as well.
