Great value product and the battery seems to last forever before a recharge is needed. The cut is precise and neat both with and without the guards. Although I haven't used all the attachments , those that I have are easy to fit and remove and robust enough for day to day use. Highly recommend this

I bought these as my husband and I had both gone VERY short - he because he desperately needed a haircut even before lockdown but needed to be presentable for video meetings at work from home, and me because I'm a nurse and my hair was long enough to get in the way but too short to stay in a pony (angled bob) and they weren't giving us caps at work, I was resorting to using shoe covers. Plus, washing it twice a day (before and after work, due to COVID-19 for infection control reasons) was TRASHING it. So off it came. We'd been using a beard trimmer (not ideal) so I asked my friend (who's been shaving hers for years) for recommendations and she IMMEDIATELY said "Best set I ever had were from Philips. And you know what? She's right. These are fantastic. Easy for novice users, charged quickly, went through my hair which is thick and awkward as I have an u-shaped double crown in under five minutes and gave a perfect finish first time. After washing my hair was completely even first time. This is the third shave for me, and the difference these made were phenomenal - previously we'd need to shave, wash, tidy, wash, tidy, wash, tidy...no longer! One going over was enough. And for us the fact it can be used to tidy hubs' beard is a huge bonus. They've got a nice weight to them, enough to tell you they're quality but not make them unwieldy or too heavy to use easily. And cleaning was simple too, which is very important, especially these days. They're definitely worth the price, which I thought was pretty reasonable. Highly recommended 😊

I have previously used beard trimmers that collect my beard trimmings but this one doesn't which limits its ease if use - I only use it in the shower before showering.The cutting is highly effecient but also safe. I've only had a minor nick on my lip with a very low settingThe numerous cutting covers are extremely useful. I cut/trim my hair with 2 different covers and use the ear and nasal trimmers as required. They all work well. I'm impressed with this little trimmer.

I upgraded my last Phillips trimmer after it died after a number of years heavy usage.This trimmer is incredible. Cuts so easily where the old trimmer would struggle. I shouldn't have been so tight and just upgraded sooner!The extra attachments for the nose make things easier and I like that the beard trimmer attachment comes with various settings. The settings 3mm to 7mm are easily altered with a toggle switch. Hsving a body trimmer is brilliant as I no longer have to worry about hygiene issues if you follow my drift.Really impressed. Can't really cut yourself with this which is great as I used to cut myself shaving as a teenager. Brilliant product. Effortless trim and gives a professional and consistent appearance to your beard. I choose a 5-7mm setting for my beard decreasing gradually around the neck area . It's great you can get the look you want so easily

Having used a previous version of this, the 5000, I did expect a little more due to the selling hype (who says advertising does not work)! Anyway my old one finally died after being dropped too many times and this one is far superior. You get the same clips, combs and bits, but the actual unit is so much better. Faster charge and longer run time is such a bonus. The cut for a beard is much better too, though I can't vouch for a hair cut. I'd get another when needed and could easily recommend this to somebody who just wants a decent quality beard trimmer.
